Shipping with Claude: A Community Showcase

Lifelong Learning Institute, Singapore
In person

in partnership with Lifelong Learning Institute About this event Back by popular demand! After our last "Shipping with Claude" turned out to be one of the most talked-about and inspiring sessions we've run, we're doing it again — and this time it's open to everyone. Shipping with Claude: A Community Showcase is an afternoon of short, honest, behind-the-scenes stories from builders — women and men alike — who've used Claude to create something real: an app, a tool, a workflow, or just a better way of getting things done. Each speaker gets a 10–15 minute segment to walk through their journey: what they built, how they used Claude to build it, what surprised them, and what they'd do differently. No polished sales pitches — just real builders showing real work. Whether you're curious about AI-assisted coding, looking for inspiration to start your own project, or just want to see what's possible when you pair curiosity with the right tool, this session is for you. What you'll see Live demos of apps and tools built (and in some cases, vibecoded) with Claude Honest journeys — the wins, the wrong turns, and the "aha" moments Practical ways people are using Claude to make their work easier, not just their side projects A relaxed, community-first space to ask questions and connect with other builders Speakers *Kimberly — Built a game app and a lifestyle astrology reading app with Claude *Zheng Peng - Built a Recruitment Automation Agent that helps to reducing sourcing and candidate ranking time *Serene — Built a digital name card app for events, with Claude *Sourabh Sharma- A personal health coach which works with you to discover what works for you to gain strength , Better sleep and recovery and improve energy. #1 Post Mortem - The truth is out there - "Incident caused by AI Model"

Kollab, Budapest, Hungary
In person

The event will be at Mammut in Kollab. If you come by car, you can park at the Mammut hotel. Multiple public transport options are available. For example, 4-6. What is the event goal? In cybersecurity, we often avoid discussing incidents. Few companies conduct post-mortems or perform in-depth analyses. We are carrying out a technical deep dive into these incidents. We try to answer these questions with the 5 whys: Why did the incident happen? Why was that possible? Why did the control that should have stopped it fail? Why wasn't it detected sooner? Why does the underlying condition exist across the environment? What is the subject? Mainstream media covered these incidents extensively, but much of it was clickbait and presented a distorted reality. We will address each point and provide a timeline where available. Line up: OpenAI vs Hugging Face incident (30 min) - David Papp Mexican government breach (15 min) - David Papp Break (10 min) Demo: "Hacking by AI model" (10 min) - David Papp Security leaders round table (20 min) - Tamas Folnagy, Zsolt Balogh Disclaimer: Gen0Sec is hosting this event, which has a no-sales, no-pitch policy. Build With Harvard Founders

Harvard Business School, Boston, United States

Meet Harvard Business School founders before their teams are formed. Meet current Harvard founders, discover what they’re building, and explore what you could build together. We’re bringing a curated group of engineers to Harvard Business School to meet this semester’s founders, see what they’re building, and explore what you could build together. 3:00pm · Inside the classroom (optional) Join the Harvard Business School class as an invited guest and watch the founders pitch their ideas live. Get an early look at the ventures, the people behind them, and the problems they’re trying to solve. Classroom places are limited and confirmed separately. 5:00pm · Founder × Engineer Meetup Meet the founders directly and connect around cofounding, early engineering roles, technical advice, and building together over the semester and beyond. The founders bring ideas, business and industry experience, and the ambition to build companies. You bring the technical perspective that can help turn those ideas into something real. Not a cold mingle. Structured introductions that make it easy to connect. No awkwardly wandering around a room wondering who to talk to. We run structured networking rounds so every introduction has a purpose and everyone gets a chance to meet. The goal is to turn “we should talk” into “let’s build.” Come find your next cofounder, an early-stage opportunity, or simply some of the sharpest people in Boston to exchange ideas with. Make connections that last beyond one night. Who it’s for Computer science students, recent graduates, and working software, AI, and other technical engineers who want to get closer to the startup world. You don’t need your own startup idea or to be actively job-hunting. A note on registration We keep our events intentionally small so everyone has the chance to make meaningful connections. Registrations are reviewed with the founders’ startups and the overall mix of engineers in mind, helping us bring together people who could genuinel

CAFTANS & COFFEE: Networking, Connection & a Little Whimsy For Female Founders

Oceanside, CA, Oceanside, United States
In person

A morning for women who are building big things and want to have a little more fun while they do it! For years, I've been asking myself: Am I too young to enter my caftan era? I've finally decided the answer is NO because the caftan era has nothing to do with age. It's a lifestyle and I think the caftan is the perfect uniform for it. Because a caftan is inherently unbothered. It flows. It moves. It takes up space. It doesn't require you to suck in your stomach. It doesn't ask permission. It doesn't need to be practical. It can be wildly colorful or completely understated. And there's something almost hilarious about putting on a caftan while being inherently unbothered and saying: “Actually, this is how I'm doing life now.” 😂 That's the energy I want to bring to this morning and I'd love for you to come! I'm inviting lady entrepreneurs to join me in Oceanside for coffee, conversation, connection, and a little bit of whimsy. We're building businesses, yes. But we're also building our lives. And I think both should be fun! So we're going to skip the elevator pitches and the usual networking small talk. Instead, I've put together a few thoughtfully curated conversation prompts to help you move beyond “What do you do?” and actually connect with the women around you. We'll talk about identity, possibility, abundance, calling, joy, and the things we're being invited to trust in this next chapter. This is a morning to step outside your usual business routine, meet some extraordinary women, have a really good conversation, laugh a little, and maybe look at your own life and business with a fresh perspective. Come with your big ideas, your stories, your curiosity, and whatever you're figuring out in this season of life. And yes, resort wear is highly encouraged. Caftans are even better! 💅 Come early, grab your favorite drink, and meet us on the patio. Your ticket covers the gathering, experience and light snacks; drinks are available for purchase directly from the coffee sho

How Investors Think: Fundraising Secrets for AI-Era Founders

Online, Switzerland · Zürich Startup Founder 101
Online

Most founders prepare for fundraising by polishing their pitch and building an investor list. But successful fundraising also depends on something many overlook: understanding how investors think before, during, and after a funding conversation, especially as AI reshapes what investors look for today. In this practical online workshop, Dr. Florian Kandler will show you how investors evaluate startups, what influences their interest, and why some rounds gain momentum while others don't. Florian is a serial founder and fundraising advisor who has raised €3M+ from VCs, angels, family offices, and public funds. ❯ Guest Speakers include: Florian Kandler (Pitch & Fundraising Expert, Der Perfekte Pitch) ❯ What You'll Learn: How investors evaluate startups beyond the deck and pitch, including how AI-native positioning factors into that evaluation Why timing and preparation matter long before the final funding round What makes a startup feel more or less attractive to investors in today's AI-driven market How to avoid common mistakes that slow down fundraising conversations How to think more strategically about investor interest, momentum, and follow-up What to focus on before and during your investor outreach ❯ Who Should Attend: Founders preparing to raise their first round of startup funding Entrepreneurs seeking to understand how investors evaluate opportunities, including AI-native and AI-enabled startups Aspiring founders exploring different funding paths Anyone interested in learning about the local startup funding ecosystem . ❯❯ This is a live, interactive online event, so be sure to RSVP at https://fi.co/e/401941/meetup to receive the Zoom URL to join us live!

Dublin | Claude Conversation

Dublin 2, Ireland, Dublin 2, Ireland

Join a Claude Community Event, organized by local enthusiasts for everyone who loves building with Claude! Talk first, build next Claude Conversations runs as a pair of events. This one is the talk. The next one is the build. Tonight we take the biggest open questions in AI, the ones nobody has settled yet, and talk them through properly. Two hours, around fifty people. No lightning talks, no demo queue, no product pitch, and no audience: everyone in the room is a participant. Then we go and do something about it. What comes out of this room becomes the brief for the next event, where we get hands on keyboards and build at the problems we raised. So this is not a talking shop. What you raise here is what we work on next. Who it is for Anyone with something to say on the questions: engineers, designers, product people, founders, researchers, policy folk and the plain curious. You do not need to be deep in AI, and you do not need to have used Claude. Bring your experience and your disagreements. The usual Claude Community terms Free to attend, as every Claude Community event is. In person, in Dublin. Numbers are kept deliberately small so the room stays a conversation rather than a crowd, so if you register and then cannot make it, please release your place for someone else.

The Korea Playbook for Austin Physical AI Founders

Austin, TX, Austin, United States
In person

The Korea Playbook for Austin Physical AI Founders For physical AI, the model is rarely the bottleneck. It's who builds at volume and who's willing to fund it. China still leads on tooling and hardware, but Korea's industrial economy makes its capital structurally more willing to back long-horizon, capex-heavy robotics than most US venture. That's why Korea is becoming a place to fund and scale physical AI, not just sell into. About the Event Antler Korea and US Teams are bringing together founders, investors, and operators working across physical AI, robotics, hardware, and emerging technology in Austin to discuss the state of physical AI in Asia/South Korea and what it means for US startups. We'll explore where Korea fits into the global physical AI landscape, what makes an Asia strategy credible, and how founders can turn technical advantage into real deployment, commercial partnerships, and scale. Speakers Mok Yun Founder & CEO, Contoro Robotics Mok is the founder and CEO of Contoro Robotics, an Austin-based robotics company building AI-powered robotic systems for logistics and industrial operations. Contoro Robotics has deployed on real-world logistics deployments in South Korea and recently raised an $12M Series A investment from Coupang, South Korea's largest online retailer. Mok will share a founder's perspective on moving robotics from development to deployment, why Korean capital is proving more willing to back capex-heavy physical AI, and where he sees Asia's role in the industry heading next. Jiho Kang Partner, Antler Korea Jiho is a serial entrepreneur and investor who has built companies across Seoul and Silicon Valley. He cofounded YC backed Soomgo(acquired 2024), and BxB which was acquired by Binance. Today, he backs globally ambitious founders as Partner at Antler Korea and works with international founders exploring Korea’s startup and industrial ecosystem. Founder Fridays: The AI Collective x Unstuck Labs

Arlington, VA, Arlington, United States
In person

You asked, and we delivered: Founder Fridays are now starting in the afternoon! We often see only the success: the polished deck, the perfect pitch, and the final product. But behind every success are hundreds of mistakes, failed experiments, and lessons learned the hard way. We believe in being honest about what went wrong, sharing what it taught us, and helping one another grow through the failures we rarely talk about. Mistakes Hour 🙃 The centerpiece of the day: a session where founders share the things that went wrong. The bug that ate a week. The launch that flopped. The pivot that didn't pivot. What you learned, what you'd do differently, and what you're still figuring out. No polished pitches, just honesty. Workshop 🛠️ In the afternoon, share the problems you're working on and learn how Unstuck Labs can help you get unstuck! What to expect Conversations with builders, researchers, founders, and the AI-curious across DC A chance to meet your local AI Collective community The DMV founder community deserves a consistent place to show up—not just once a quarter at a conference. 😎As always, food and drink, engaging conversation, and incredible company will all be provided! Please be advised: Unfortunately, space is very limited at these community events and we can not always accept everyone we would like to. If you are not accepted to this event, please keep applying! We appreciate your application tremendously and we are looking forward to seeing you at a future event very soon! The AI Collective is a global non-profit building the human layer for the AI era. We unite 200,000+ leaders, builders, and stakeholders across 100+ forums worldwide to democratize the frontier, build trust, and coordinate how society navigates the rapid acceleration of technological progress. All attendees and organizers at events affiliated with The AI Collective agree to our privacy policy and are subject to our code of conduct.

Eastside Startup - Walk and Talk for Founders / Startup Enthusiasts / Investors

Bellevue Downtown Park, Bellevue, United States
In person

Who Should Attend Founders, investors, startup enthusiasts - basically anyone who enjoys talking startups without being trapped in a conference room. Why Walk & Talk? Because networking is better with fresh air and fewer awkward name-tag moments. Meet interesting people while getting your steps in. Have casual conversations that might turn into useful connections, ideas, or opportunities. Take advantage of the beautiful Seattle summer while it’s here. How Does Walk & Talk Work? Pretty simple: Form small groups of 2–4 people, start walking, and chat. Feel free to switch groups along the way. No 30-second elevator pitches required. Agenda 2:30 PM: Meet at the steps near The Infinite Fountain (Right inside from the parking lot.) 2:40 PM: Start walking! We’ll do 3 loops around Downtown Park. 3:20 PM: Reconvene near the steps: Exchange contacts, and stretch your legs. 3:30 PM: Wrap up. A Few Tips for Good Networking Come with an open mind. You never know who you’ll meet. Be kind, respectful, and inclusive. Give before you ask. The best networks are built on generosity. Practice active listening. We have two ears and one mouth let's use them roughly in that proportion. And most importantly: relax. It’s a walk in the park.

[Dubai AI Hub] Knowledge Lab #1: Frontier Papers - Recursive Harness Self-Improvement

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
In person

Hello Dubai AI builders 👋🏼 We're back, and this time with something new. We're hosting our first ever Knowledge Lab, a new series that will run alongside our Builder Labs. Why we're doing this A lot of AI work right now happens at the surface level: vibe coding, copying patterns, shipping things nobody in the room fully understands. That's fine for POCs, or when you're new to these tools. If you want to go deeper, Knowledge Lab is where we come together to properly work through research papers, books and podcasts, either to sharpen how you think and make you a better user of these tools, or to give you new ideas for what and how to build. Future sessions will cover Software Fundamentals, Product Principles, System Design and others. We're starting with Frontier Papers. Who we are Dubai AI Hub is a builder-first AI community for engineers, founders, and indie hackers. All our events are free, and it's just engineers talking to engineers. No sales pitches. Builder Labs are where we build. Knowledge Labs are where we think. Knowledge Lab #1: Recursive Harness Self-Improvement Most of the progress in AI engineering right now isn't in the models. It's in the harness: the scaffolding that decides what the model sees, what it can reach for, and how it recovers when it gets things wrong. So what happens when the harness becomes part of the learning loop? That's what we're working through, across a few papers: Meta-harness Continual Harness DeepSeek Harness (via its Cordis paper) and others Come having skimmed them if you can. You don't need to have understood everything, just a rough idea of what each one is about. We'll cover each at a high level in 15 minutes, then open it up to the room. Then the open mic. This is the main event: a full hour of the room working out what any of this means for how we actually build. Bring your opinions, and write them down as we go. How the day runs 10:00am · Doors open, check-in and coffee 10:30am · Intro: what a harness is, and why "recu
