In dieser praxisnahen Masterclass spricht Meloko darüber, wie Artists sich heute professionell positionieren, Aufmerksamkeit aufbauen und langfristig ihren Weg in der elektronischen Musikszene finden können. Statt alles mit der Maus zu automatisieren, zeigt er, wie spontane Audio-Aufnahmen genutzt werden können, um organischere Grooves, Übergänge und sogenannte „happy accidents“ zu erzeugen. Im Fokus stehen kreative Workflows in Ableton, effizientes Arbeiten sowie die Frage, wie man einen eigenen befriedigenden Workflow findet, ohne sich in Technik oder Perfektionismus zu verlieren. Anhand konkreter Beispiele erklärt HOVR, wie sich Barrieren im Produktionsprozess abbauen lassen und wie aus ersten Skizzen schnell funktionierende Grooves entstehen. Während des Workshops produziert er live einen Club-Drop und gibt dabei direkte Einblicke in seinen Workflow, seine Entscheidungen und seinen Umgang mit Sounddesign, Groove und Arrangement. Teilnehmende haben zudem die Möglichkeit, eigene Projekte mitzubringen, diese auf einer hochwertigen Clubanlage anzuhören und gemeinsam mit der Gruppe Feedback sowie konkrete Tipps für die nächsten Schritte zu erhalten.
