This hackathon is about building with agent harnesses, hands-on, alongside the people building the tools. We're teaming up with LangChain Ambassador Zamal Babar and Data Reply to host an evening of talks and hacking in Munich. You'll form small groups, build a deep agent from scratch, and demo it to a panel of judges by the end of the night. What you'll build The theme is agent harnesses — the scaffolding that turns a model into a system that can plan, use tools, and recover from its own mistakes. Steffen Hausmann will kick things off with two short talks: one on deep agents, and one on managed deep agents. Then you'll put it into practice. A few days before the event, we'll send out a prompt so you can come with an idea already in mind. Use the time before the hackathon to think through your approach — you'll want it once the clock starts. Die Probleme kommen direkt aus der LMU-Forschung, keine erfundenen Cases, sondern Dinge, an denen Leute hier tatsächlich hängen. Wer schon eine eigene Idee hat, bringt sie mit. Was du bekommst: ein Team, das zu dir passt, weil wir vorher matchen. Workshops zu Vibe Coding, Geschäftsmodell und Sales. Mentoren, die selbst gegründet haben. AI-Credits zum Bauen. Und am 27. November pitchst du vor einer Jury aus Gründern und Investoren. Good morning dear community, we are planning our next hackathon, this time in collaboration with reply at their wonderful office. Thanks to Michael Lauter for your great effort to making this possible and for your collaborative spirit - much appreciated and obviously also to the whole reply team great attitude. For this hackathon we are collecting real industry challenges and will be distributing them a month prior to the event, so that the teams have decent time to build prototypes. One technology that we are exploring is semvec.io as a memory system coming out of the Munich ecosystem. Obviously we only use it where there is a fit, but some use cases surely have one.
