AI Healthcare Hackathon with Anima x OpenAI

London, United Kingdom, London, United Kingdom
In person

[This event is now FULL - you can still submit an application to be added to future AI and healthcare events by Anima] Healthcare’s hardest problems are often not caused by missing science. The people, information and decisions are already there, but the systems around them are fragmented, manual or too slow. On Saturday 12 September, Anima and OpenAI are bringing a selected group of exceptional builders to OpenAI’s London HQ for one intense day of building to solve some of these challenges. You’ll work on a real clinical problem with direct access to a simulated healthcare system with synthetic longitudinal patient data, proprietary tooling to deploy agents into healthcare settings (currently used to serve >25% of the UK’s population), senior NHS stakeholders and clinicians, and Anima and OpenAI product and AI builders. Prizes Final prizes will be announced on the day. However, we'll have: Up to £15k in cash prizes ~£5k worth of gadgets up for grabs ~£5k of unique swag Who should apply This is an application-based event with limited places. Engineers, medics, product builders, researchers, and anyone with compelling evidence that they make ambitious things happen. Apply individually; we’ll share final team arrangements with successful applicants. Travel allowance This event is in person, in London. If you're selected, we'll cover up to £20 for travel from outside of London.

WORLDS | LONDON Hackathon

London, United Kingdom, London, United Kingdom
In person

World Models are about to change Games, Media, and Robotics, and most people still have not had a real chance to build with them. Worlds is a curated, one-day hackathon where London's best Engineers, Founders, and Artists come together to make working prototypes across five tracks; with the kind of energy that feels more like a launch party than a conference. Expect a room full of sharp people, ambitious ideas, and fast-moving builds in King's Cross. The judges are the people building these models, which makes this a rare chance to test ideas in front of the creators shaping the field. If you want to get your hands dirty, meet the people pushing world models forward, and leave having actually made something, this is the place to be. Partners List: REACTOR (reactor.inc) - The developer platform for World Models MULTIC (multic.com) - Multiplayer Interactive Stories by Multic VEED (veed.io) - Interactive Avatars. night office (nightoffice.co) - providing hackathon space. worlds.london

So it can do real work like, search the web, write and run code, wire up tools over MCP, read the files you send it, remember your projects, and fire off scheduled tasks without ever touching the rest of your machine. You can extend it by chatting and it edits its own skills and config. Secure by design, not instruction. GirlsWhoML & PhysicsX Hackathon

London, United Kingdom, London, United Kingdom
In person

If commercial space flights land on Mars tomorrow, what would you build to create the Martian city? [APPLICATIONS CLOSED] Join GirlsWhoML and PhysicsX for an evening hackathon in London to tackle the first human landing on Mars, supported by Cursor. You arrive on an empty, rust-red planet with no city, no roads, and no infrastructure. What do you build first? You’ll design and prototype one core system for the Martian city, across three tracks: Architecture, Vehicles, and Life Support. Every build should combine engineering, machine learning, or 3D modelling. The window is short, but that’s the point: see how far you can push what’s possible in a single evening. Mentors will be on the floor throughout, your work will be reviewed by a panel of industry judges, and every participant gets Cursor credits supported by Francisco Terpolilli, Cursor's EU Ambassador and Regional Leader. Bring a team of 2-3, or turn up solo and we’ll help you find a crew, at our team formation session. Women, non-binary, and allies are all welcome. Prizes provided by PhysicsX, including career coaching and mentorship opportunities, to be announced. Bring your curiosity, your laptop, and your ambition. The city starts with you. Schedule 🛸 5:30pm - launch pad 6:00pm - mission briefing 6:20pm - ignition 8:00pm - mid mission check 8:30pm - code freeze 8:38pm - demos 9:30pm - judging 9:45pm - close Thank you so much for the incredible response to this hackathon. We’ve been genuinely overwhelmed (in the best way!) by the interest, which far exceeds our venue’s capacity. Because space is limited, we’ve had to carefully curate a group that reflects our community and fits the hack’s brief. With so many strong applications, this was a difficult process. If you don’t receive a spot this time, please know it comes down to capacity and fit for this specific event not a judgment on your talent or potential. Thank you again for your enthusiasm and for taking the time to apply.

Whether you're deep in a Shipaton submission, building something mobile on the side, or just want to see what people are shipping, come join us: 🚀 Work on your submission with other builders in the room 💡 Hear from Jaewoong Eum, Senior Developer Advocate at RevenueCat 📱 Community demos: show us your Shipaton submission. Photos and videos will be shared by Dev Korea and RevenueCat on social media and promotional materials. Let us know at check-in if you'd prefer not to appear. Don't worry about perfect English! AI-Powered Ideation with Claude: From Idea to MVP

Houston, TX, Houston, United States
In person

The Houston Hackathon is September 25. This is your head start. Join the Houston Claude Community for a hands-on ideation night. This isn't a talk about ideas — it's a working session where you take a rough idea all the way to a real, buildable MVP, using Claude as your thinking partner. Bring your own idea, or work from a civic prompt tied to the hackathon. Here's the journey we'll run together: — Idea → concept: sharpen a rough idea into something real — Concept → problem statement: get brutally clear on the problem and who has it — Problem → MVP: define the smallest thing actually worth building — MVP → visual design: watch an idea become something you can see Everyone starts on the same path using a free Claude account — nothing to install. If you have Claude Pro, you'll keep going into Claude Design and turn your MVP into a real visual design in the room. If you're on the free version, you'll walk out with a complete idea-to-MVP plan and see exactly what Design makes possible. You'll leave with a process you can use at the hackathon on the 25th — or for any idea you want to get off the ground quickly. What to bring: — Your laptop, charged — A free Claude account (claude.ai) — that's all you need to fully participate — Optional: if you have Claude Pro, you'll be able to build along in Claude Design. Not required to join. — A rough idea, if you've got one (or use ours) Doors open at 6:00 PM. Program runs 6:30–8:00 PM. This is the final event in our summer series leading into the Houston Hackathon on September 25, in partnership with Impact Hub Houston. Come ready to build.

ClawBio, developing your own genomic agent from scratch

300 Binney St, Cambridge, United States
In person

One day. Real genomic questions. Build agents that do useful scientific work, then show the room what they found. AI agents can plan multi-step work, call tools, run analyses and recover from failure. Biology is where that gets hard: results must be reproducible, evidence must be traceable, and an agent must know when it cannot support a claim. ClawBio is open-source infrastructure for that work. Its versioned skills make an agent's methods inspectable, reproducible and open to challenge. Boston is modelled on the latest ClawBio hackathon in Berlin, with the format improved using what we learned there: setup before arrival, one clear help route, faster team formation and more protected build time. Everything runs through Slack The ClawBio Slack community is where we work before, during and after the event. Register for the event to receive access for setup, introductions, team formation, help, demos and follow-up. The join link is not posted publicly. #boston-general: introductions, announcements, timetable and resources #boston-help: the single route for setup, access, data, tool and testing problems #boston-teams: ideas, team formation, challenge selection and working links #boston-demos: demos, evidence, limitations and what happens next Registered participants will receive a short technical preflight through Slack. Complete it before arrival so that the day can be spent building. What you will build Choose a published challenge brief or bring a biological question that we can scope with you. Challenge directions include: End the diagnostic odyssey Build a cancer target you would defend Ask whose genome a method fails on Bring your own question Your team will build an agent that can do useful scientific work, expose its evidence and state what it cannot claim. A GitHub contribution is welcome when it fits the project, but the day is about useful work and learning, not chasing a pull request count. What you get A full day focused on one real scientific problem A t
