Deel Founders Table | Singapore Edition

Mandala Club, Singapore
In person

Singapore scales global. Let’s work out how. Your product is ready to go regional. Your hiring, payroll and compliance setup may not be. Every founder hits that gap, and most work through it alone. Which market next? How do you hire your first team abroad? How do you stay compliant without slowing down? You’re probably not the only one stuck on these questions, and the founders at your table likely are too. On Thursday 5 November, we’re bringing together Singapore’s founders and startup leaders for a focused morning with peers facing the same challenges. No keynotes, no pitch deck. Just honest conversations, a fireside chat with founders who’ve scaled, and roundtables where you leave with a clearer plan and new people to call. Agenda 9:00–9:15 | Arrival + coffee + light pastries 9:15–9:30 | Deel intro: our story and our platform 9:30–10:00 | Fireside chat with founders scaling from Singapore 10–10:45 | Peer-to-peer table brainstorms (45 minutes) 10:45–11:00 | Share-back and key takeaway 11:00 onwards | Networking and food Rotating table brainstorms Each table rotates through all three topics, spending about 15 minutes on each, led by a facilitator who has hired globally from both sides: What market should we go into next? How do we find talent and hire internationally? How do we manage compliance? EOR vs. contractors vs. setting up an entity Where and when 📍 Where: The Penthouse, Mandala Club 🗓️ When: Thursday 5 November 2026 🕒 Time: 9:00am - 11:30am Request your seat. Places are limited to keep the conversation small. About Deel Deel helps 40,000+ companies, including Nike, OpenAI and Klarna, hire, manage and pay anyone, anywhere. One platform covers payroll, HR, benefits and compliance across 150+ countries.

Meta's Muse is now live in Singapore. Muse launched in the US on 8 September and went to No. 1 on the US App Store within two weeks. As of 28 October, it is available here on iOS, Android and muse.ai, with early local partners including Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada. So how do you set it up well? What is worth handing over first? And what does it mean for those of us building and selling in Singapore? This is our first Muse meetup, a community session hosted by OpenBuilder for builders, founders, professionals and anyone curious about personal AI agents. Bring your phone. We will set Muse up together, in the room. Convergence Summit | Singapore Fintech Festival 2026 Edition

The Exchange (Singapore Land Tower), Singapore
In person

Convergence Summit Nov 2026: AI for Enterprises and Financial Institutions Convergence Summit returns. It's a half-day, community-driven conference on how AI is reshaping enterprises and financial institutions, held in Singapore the week before Singapore FinTech Festival. Our previous edition in June, during SuperAI week, brought together speakers from Google DeepMind, OpenAI, SpaceXSI (fka Cursor), Vercel, Slack, Coinbase, Stripe, Notion, AWS, and more, was held in partnership with Stripe, AWS, and Notion. This time we go deeper into the organizations deploying AI where the stakes are highest: banks, governments, and large enterprises. Topics to Expect: Trust Before Scale: Deploying AI in Regulated Industries: In regulated industries, the hard part isn’t the model. It’s the sign-off. The panel covers where data is allowed to live, how on-prem open-weight models compare with private-cloud frontier models, what auditors and regulators actually ask for, and which controls turn a pilot into production. Agents at Work: What Happens When AI Starts Doing the Job: Together, the panelists look at agents running in production: the work they actually do today, how teams build guardrails, evaluations and human checkpoints around them, and what new risks appear once software has permission to act. The Bank Rebuilt: Inside the AI Transformation of Asia’s Largest Financial Institutions: This panel follows the AI stack inside a bank. The panel unpacks the data foundations that had to be fixed first, where AI is changing analyst and operations work, how build-versus-buy decisions get made, and what it takes for a bank to trust an outside AI vendor with critical workflows. How Enterprises Are Adapting in the Age of AI: Lessons From the Builders Rewiring Large Organizations: A frontier lab sits with three enterprise builders: a telco, a government technology agency and a real-estate conglomerate. They discuss what changed inside their organizations once AI moved from experiments to

Designing Trust in the Digital Economy

MBFC Tower 3, Singapore
In person

Introduction As AI reshapes how we build, create, and transact, trust has become the currency that matters most. Join us for an event on using AI to build trust across the new money era, content, and AI itself with keynotes, a hands-on AI skills challenge, and networking to wrap up the evening. What to expect 🎤 Keynote talks from industry voices 🙋 Live Q&A with speakers 🤝 Community networking Speakers Peter Zheng is Head of Design at OKX, where his team designs the products more than 120 million customers use to trade, pay and save. Over 20 years, his career has taken him from East to West, through agencies including W+K, TBWA\Media Arts Lab and Ogilvy, and in-house at Google, Samsung and Meta. Working across cultures has taught him that good ideas start with listening. As AI changes how products get made, he is helping his team move from designing screens to designing systems, with people at the center. Topic Intro: More of our financial lives now happen on a phone, at any hour, and soon with AI doing some of the work for us. None of that matters if people don’t feel safe enough to use it. Crypto gave us new ways to prove things. Anyone can check a transaction on a blockchain, and exchanges publish reports showing they hold customers’ funds. Yet people still hesitate before they hit “confirm.” Proof and protection are different things, and design has to close the distance between them. In this session, Peter shares how OKX designs for trust, from showing people how they’re protected to helping them understand what they’re agreeing to before it's final. He’ll also look at what changes when we start handing some of those decisions to an AI agent. Pearly Tan is Content Systems Director at OKX, where she is leading the shift from content design as a service to content as a scalable system for global digital products. She previously led Global Content Design at OKX and led the build of award-winning experiences across Meta Reality Labs, TikTok Shop and Bank of Singa
