About this event

About Convergence Summit
Held on 13 Nov 2026 (Fri), Convergence Summit is a full-day conference on how AI is being deployed across industries.

In line with the theme at Singapore Fintech Festival 2026, this edition of Convergence Summit is focused on financial services and enterprises — from the model layer and the applications built on it, to the banks, payment networks, boards and investors deciding what gets shipped.
The first edition of Convergence Summit was held in Jun 2026 — held in partnership with Stripe, AWS and Notion. It drew 1,000+ registrations and 300+ approved guests, with over 60% of them at the senior level.

Previous speakers were from OpenAI, SpaceXAI (fka Cursor), Exa, Google Deepmind, Google Gemini, Slack, Stripe, Notion, AWS, StraitsX, and Coinbase.

Light refreshments will be served.

Topics
This edition of Convergence Summit will be held right before Singapore Fintech Festival, and will feature the following topics:
The Model Layer for Regulated Industries: Deploying AI where the data cannot leave — private and sovereign deployment, and what a regulator will actually sign off on.
The Finance Stack Rewritten: AI-native applications inside financial workflows — the memo, the credit file, the reconciliation, the compliance review — and which of them hold up in production.
The Bank Rebuilt: Inside the AI transformation of Asia's largest financial institutions — what has shipped, what moved a number, and what these teams now buy versus build.
Money in Motion: How AI is rewiring payments — fraud decisioning, cross-border flows, and what checkout looks like when the buyer is an agent rather than a person.
The Board's Problem: Governing AI from the top of the house — the oversight, risk and accountability questions now landing on the board agenda.
Capital Distribution in the Age of AI: What investors are funding in financial services, how they price regulatory moats against technical ones, and how their own firms have been rebuilt to decide.

AI Salon Singapore (21 October 2026)

Singapore
In person

AI Salon is a global community bringing together AI founders and builders, investors, operators and ecosystem partners to connect, learn and collaborate. AI Salon Singapore returns on 21 October for another evening of fresh perspectives, candid conversations and meaningful connections. This edition brings together Vinod Mahbobani from KFC / Yum! Brands and Yum Asia, Yongcheng Ong from Insignia Ventures Partners, and Denise Ang from HTX, with Durwin Ho moderating. Together, they bring distinct perspectives from global business, venture capital and public-sector technology. What makes this mix valuable is the opportunity to hear how people with different responsibilities approach the same questions. What catches an investor’s attention? What matters to a global organisation? How does a public-sector technology leader think about opportunities, implementation and trust? We’ll draw on our speakers’ journeys, lessons and experiences, while leaving room to explore the developments in AI that matter most when we meet. Expect thoughtful questions, lively exchanges and opportunities to bring your own perspective into the conversation. At its heart, AI Salon is about the people. Building a company or navigating new technology is easier when you can learn from those who have been there, exchange ideas with peers and meet people who challenge your thinking. Our aim is to create a welcoming space for those connections, helping Singapore’s AI community learn, grow and support one another. Come with questions, share what you’re working on and leave with new ideas and people to follow up with. More details on the speakers and programme will be announced soon. What We Will Explore How AI founders can find genuine commercial traction amid the hype What investors look for when evaluating AI startups How companies are moving from AI experimentation to deployment The evolving opportunities around AI agents and automation What differentiates defensible AI companies from thin product wrap
