START Warsaw x Poland Tech Week Hackathon

OCT30
18:00 · Europe / Warsaw

About this event

This October, we’re bringing the START Warsaw hackathon back as part of Poland Tech Week 2026. Builders, founders, designers and engineers will work on challenges from companies with real problems to solve. The goal is simple: build a working prototype and show what it can do.
Come with a team of 3–4 or apply solo and meet your teammates here. You’ll spend most of the time building, testing and preparing a demo. Bring a laptop, a charger, and something you want to prove.
Our first two case partners are Reactive AI and Bending Spoons.
Reactive AI is rethinking how AI models work, building a new architecture with memory at its core so AI can learn from interactions instead of starting fresh every time. Their track challenges teams to push the boundaries of AI benchmarking and rethink how we measure what AI can actually do.
Bending Spoons, the technology company behind products such as WeTransfer and Evernote, has just opened an office in Warsaw. They’re joining with a challenge of their own for teams to tackle.
The full briefs for both partners will follow.
Like last time, OpenAI will be joining us as a technology partner, more details coming soon.
ElevenLabs joins as a tool partner, offering participants one month of Creator access, plus Pro prizes for the overall winning team and Scale prizes for the best project built with ElevenLabs. Access and redemption instructions will be shared with accepted participants.

Prelint joins as a tool partner as well. Prelint is an AI reviewer that checks every pull request against what your team actually decided to build. It flags the moment the code drifts from the plan and surfaces the decisions your AI agents made without telling you. Each team gets $250 in credits to use during the hackathon, with $2,000 in credits for the winning team.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We’ll email selected applicants with next steps. Each teammate must apply separately.
30–31 October, Warsaw. Venue and exact hours to follow.

Wiki+Ctrl+Delete: Wikipedia – The Internet Encyclopedia Under Attack @ Poland Tech Week 2026

Lublin Union Square, Warsaw, Poland
In person

Join us for "Wiki+Ctrl+Delete: Wikipedia – The Internet Encyclopedia Under Attack", part of Poland Tech Week 2026. While millions trust Wikipedia as their primary source of information, maintaining the world's largest encyclopedia is a highly complex challenge. Behind the scenes, the platform actively pushes back against coordinated disinformation, automated bots, and AI-generated content, as well as major AI-scraping attacks. Far from a simple digital library, Wikipedia is an active space where accuracy and objective truth require constant moderation and technological defense. Join us during Poland Tech Week for an event that will expose the mechanics of these attacks and show how open knowledge defends itself against collapse. We will analyze the most notorious case studies from the frontlines of edit wars, look into the tools guarding the platform and discuss whether truth still stands a chance in the AI era. Reserve your spot and discover what crisis management looks like in the Last Good Place on the Internet. Who is this for? Cybersecurity professionals and tech enthusiasts. Founders, developers, and AI researchers. Journalists, fact-checkers, and content creators. Anyone curious about who really controls the information we read online See the full Poland Tech Week calendar -> https://luma.com/polandtechweek
