Join climate founders, leaders, community builders, and curious professionals for a walk, meaningful conversations, and an easier way to meet people without having to work the room a moment before the Raleigh-Durham Climate Week (RDCW) officially begins for the first time right here in the Triangle. Read More HERE Each month we have a theme for the walk: Our November theme is GRATITUDE, a chance to appreciate the founders and beyond working with purpose toward a healthier planet, recognize those who make that work possible, and pause to give ourselves some credit along the way. WHAT TO EXPECT Let’s answer a few questions you might have 🙋 Can I come alone? Absolutely. Many people do. You do not need to know anyone before you arrive. We will pair you with 1–2 people for the Walk & Talk. 👟 What should I wear? We let you choose, whether that’s casual, workout clothes, everyday clothes, or whatever you’re wearing to the RDCW event that day. It all works! We usually walk about 1 mile at a conversational pace, about a 20–25 minute walk, so wear any shoes you’re comfortable walking in around downtown. No special walking gear needed. 💬 What will we talk about? Each month, we explore a focused theme connected to work, life, and how we navigate both, with a few questions to guide the conversation so you do not have to figure out what to talk about or how to get started when you walk. The questions are there to get you started, not to keep you on a script.
