Rust Tuesdays: Reverse Engineer Anything

Pennovation Center, Philadelphia, United States · C.O.D.E - Community of Developers & Engineers
In person

``` Join Eric Manganaro and Justin DiClemente at Pennovation Center for Reverse Engineer Anything (REA), with two talks on Rust and CNC control. Eric Manganaro: Building a library of ideas with Rust Eric will show how he uses Rust to capture ideas from programs he reverse engineers. His REA system stores recurring themes and architectural patterns so he can reuse them in new projects, in Rust or other languages. A planned demo will run actual controller firmware against a simulated FPGA and a virtual CNC mill, tracing software commands through to machine motion. Time permitting, we’ll also look at proprietary 3D printer software, with Bambu Lab as a possible example. Pennovation Center 3401 Grays Ferry Avenue, Philadelphia, PA ```
