Artificial Intelligence is transforming how startups operate, but choosing the right CRM is about more than picking the platform with the most AI features. In this exclusive HubSpot for Startups webinar, Ricky Pearl, Founder of Pointer, shares why his team moved from Attio back to HubSpot and how they built an AI-first operating system with HubSpot as its foundation. During this session, you’ll learn: Why a strong CRM foundation matters more than AI features alone. How AI can become the interface while HubSpot remains the system of record. Practical workflows for recruiting, sales, invoicing, forecasting and deal management. Lessons learned from evaluating HubSpot against newer AI-native CRM platforms. This session is especially relevant for startup founders, operations, revenue and sales leaders, and anyone exploring how to build a scalable AI-powered go-to-market stack.

Most founders only start thinking about legal structure when incorporation becomes urgent, or when an investor asks a cap table question nobody has a clean answer to. By then, questions around the right legal entity, shareholder structure, founder holdings, or the notary appointment can quickly turn into roadblocks. The right legal setup isn't paperwork to defer. It's the foundation for fundraising, governance, and every stage of growth that follows, whether you're incorporating for the first time or already running your GmbH. This masterclass gives you that foundation before you need it, from three lawyers who build it for founders, investors, and venture-backed startups every day. Your Hosts Hosted by LawYeah, the platform that matches clients with the right specialized lawyers based on expertise, not networks, free for clients. Led by Dr. Sophie-Charlotte von Bierbrauer zu Brennstein, Associate Corporate Law at Gleiss Lutz, together with Jules Michels and Marie Hillebrand, Associates Corporate Law at V14, who advise founders, investors, and venture-backed startups on incorporations, financing rounds, governance, and exits every day. Dr. Sophie-Charlotte is a fully qualified German lawyer since 2024 who studied in Berlin, Wiesbaden, and Melbourne. Jules Michels, LL.M. (USC), has been an Attorney at Law in the State of New York since 2018 and a fully qualified German lawyer since 2020, having studied in Berlin and Los Angeles and previously worked at Morrison Foerster. Marie Hillebrand, LL.M. (UCT), is a fully qualified German lawyer since 2025 who studied in Berlin, Lisbon, and Cape Town, and previously worked on V14's IP/IT team and at Hengeler Mueller. Together, we'll walk through the entire incorporation process in Germany and what comes after, helping you understand the key legal decisions to make before and after signing at the notary. The session closes with an interactive Q&A: bring your questions and get practical, market-tested advice, not legal theory,

This is a meetup for the community around QRI in London. Chris Percy, a researcher with QRI, is going to give a talk: “What is Valence (hedonic tone)?” followed by an unconference, a participant-driven conference with write-in schedule on the wall. The unconference topics can be any of the general QRI topics: consciousness research, psychedelics, meditation, neuroscience, philosophy.
Qualia Research Institute is non-profit building a science of consciousness to improve lives of sentient beings. This is a meetup for the community around QRI in London. Chris Percy (twitter), a researcher with QRI, is going to give a talk: “What is Valence (hedonic tone)?” Chris's talk in his words The 'hard problem' of consciousness has had plenty of attention: why should any physical or functional phenomenon be accompanied by experience? This talk argues that a parallel 'hard problem' of valence has been largely ignored: Why should any experience feel good or bad? QRI has a conceptual solution in the form of the Symmetry Theory of Valence, originally developed by Mike Johnson (see also: 2020 overview). But it's far from a complete theory. It's not even clear what requirements a theory of valence should account for. Or how we would assess the quality of those accounts across competing theories. What even are the alternatives to a Symmetry Theory? This talk will discuss these alternatives, suggesting that none of them satisfy an initial set of requirements that we'll describe. The question is, how do we get from here towards a more complete answer? More than a talk, we want to invite you to a discussion. The talk is based on a draft paper that Chris Percy and Asher Soryl first started with Andrés Gómez-Emilsson (QRI's President & Director of Research) on in 2024. Our progress on this particular paper seems to have stalled! We need fresh ideas and challenging eyes. Please come along and help. Unconference The talk by Chris will be followed by unconference, a participant-driven conference with write-in schedule on the wall. Anyone who wants to initiate a discussion on a topic can claim a time and a space. We had several unconferences previously, so might've been to one already — this one will have a similar format. The unconference topics don't have to be related to the topic of the talk — they can be any of the general QRI topics: consciousness research, psychedelic
