Reimagining education in the age of AI with Dr. Prathosh A.P. (IISc)

OCT15
18:30 · Asia / Kolkata

About this event

As AI starts to explain almost anything, what is a classroom actually for?
AI is changing how we learn, teach and assess. Personalised tutors, instant feedback and generative tools can widen access to quality education, but they also raise hard questions about original thinking, equity and the role of the teacher.
The goal of this talk is to create an environment of dialogue and ideas in the room.
About Speaker:
Dr. Prathosh A. P. is an Assistant Professor in the ECE department at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru and co-founder of Latentforce, AI infra for coding agents.
His research focuses on deep learning, representation learning, and data-efficient machine learning, with applications in digital healthcare.
He earned his Ph.D. from IISc in 2015 and previously taught at IIT Delhi and worked in research roles at Xerox and Philips. He also co-founded Cogniable, a startup developing AI tools for behavioural healthcare.

Enterprise AI Showcase - Agents Security

Workspace by ANSR, Bengaluru, India · Bangalore AI Developers Group
In person

\\ Pre-register on the AICamp event website is required for admission. Description: Welcome to the Enterprise AI Showcase in Bangalore, in collaboration with Snowflake, ANSR. Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, GenAI, LLMs and machine learning, networking with speakers and fellow developers. Agenda: \ 10:00am\~10:30am: Checkin \ 10:30am\~10:45am: Welcome and Intro \ 10:45am\~12:00pm: Tech talks and Q&A \ 12:00pm\~1:00pm: Networking and Snacks Tech Talk 1: Your Cortex Agent Passed Every Eval. It's Still Not Safe Speaker: Sandip Pani (Snowflake) Abstract: Agent evals measure whether your AI gets the right answer, not what happens when it's attacked. As agents gain tool access and data permissions, prompt injection and jailbreak attempts become a real production risk. This talk breaks down the emerging attack surface of AI agents and how Snowflake is building security into the data and control plane itself. We'll cover Cortex AI Guardrails for real-time prompt injection and jailbreak defense, data-layer protection via RBAC and Row Access Policies, account-level guardrail configuration for "define once, enforce everywhere" governance, and the newly announced Cortex AI Gateway and Agent Identity, Which govern what agents can actually do, and who's accountable when something goes wrong. Speakers/Topics: Stay tuned as we are updating speakers and schedules. If you have a keen interest in speaking to our community, we invite you to submit topics for consideration: Submit Topics Sponsors: We are actively seeking sponsors to support AI developers community. Whether it is by offering venue spaces, providing food, or cash sponsorship. Sponsors will not only speak at the meetups, receive prominent recognition, but also gain exposure to our extensive membership base of 30,000+ AI developers in Bangalore and 500K+ worldwide.

RSI Research Mixer

Bengaluru, India, Bengaluru, India
In person

About the Event A curated gathering for researchers, engineers, founders, and technical builders exploring recursive self-improvement and self-learning AI systems. AI agents are becoming more capable, but the harder question is how they learn from experience, retain useful knowledge, evaluate their own work, and improve safely over time. The RSI Research Mixer brings together people working across research, infrastructure, developer tools, reinforcement learning, evaluations, memory, and agentic systems for an evening of practical conversations and shared learning. This is not a pitch night. It is a research-led gathering for people actively building, experimenting, or trying to understand what self-improving AI systems could look like in real-world environments. What we’ll explore Recursive self-improvement and self-learning agents Memory, feedback loops, and continual learning RL environments and world models Evaluations, verification, and agent reliability Developer infrastructure for long-running agents Moving research ideas into practical systems Event format Spotlight Talks Short sessions from researchers and builders sharing what they are working on, what they have learned, and where they are still stuck. Research Discussion An open conversation around the technical opportunities, limitations, and safety considerations of self-improving AI systems. Open Networking Meet researchers, founders, engineers, independent builders, and people exploring the next generation of agentic systems. Who should attend? AI and ML researchers Engineers building agentic systems Founders and startup operators Developers working on AI infrastructure and tooling People exploring RL, evaluations, memory, or world models Independent builders and open-source contributors 📍 Paytm Office, Bellandur 📅 October 24th 2026 Hosted by AgentR Ecosystem Partner: Paytm AI Interested in presenting your research, sharing an experiment, or joining the discussion?
