Longevity & Nutrition

OCT12
18:30 · Europe / Vienna

About this event

Longevity & Nutrition is an evening talk in Vienna with Longevity Cities and Michaela Loredana Lungu, integrative nutrition expert and founder of LYV Longevity Café, on how what you eat shapes how long and how well you live. Join us for the talk, an open Q&A and relaxed networking afterwards.

📅 Monday, 12 October 2026
🕕 18:30 to 20:30
📍 LYV Longevity Café, Eggerthgasse 8, 1060 Vienna
🗣️ Talk and hosting in English
🎟️ Free entry (pay your own at the café)

What is this about?
Most of us know that food matters for our health, yet the advice out there is loud and often contradictory. This evening goes back to the basics: what supports a longer life, and just as much, more good years within it. You leave with a clearer picture and a calmer relationship to your plate.
What to expect
Michaela walks you through the basic building blocks of longevity, so you can see which factors carry the most weight.
She then focuses on nutrition and its role in lifespan and healthspan (the number of years you spend in good health).
After the talk, you have time to ask your own questions in an open Q&A.
The evening ends with networking, where you can meet people in Vienna who share your interest in healthy living.
Who is it for?
Anyone curious about longevity and healthy living is welcome, whether you are just starting to read about it or already follow the research. If you want to meet like-minded people in Vienna's longevity community, this is a good place to start. You don't need any prior knowledge.
About Michaela Loredana Lungu
Michaela Loredana Lugu is the founder of LYV Longevity Café. She works as an integrative nutrition expert and micronutrient coach, and she is also a certified herbal educator. Her expertise covers gut health and hormones, along with stress management and sleep, so her talk connects the science of longevity with the everyday question of what ends up on your plate.
Good to know
Entry is free, and you pay for your own food and drinks at the café.

Gedanken verschwinden, bevor wir sie zu Ende gedacht haben. Der Oktober ist Keeping Season: eine Zeit des Erntens, Sammelns und Bewahrens. Im Mittelpunkt steht eine Frage: "In a disposable age, what is worth keeping?" Nobody Touched the Code - Reliability engineering for non-deterministic software

WienIT GmbH, Vienna, Austria · Wien Software Architecture Meetup
In person

One line disappeared from a system prompt during an ordinary week of edits. The tests stayed green. The JSON stayed valid. And the classifier quietly began routing almost every request to the wrong specialist — a production failure nobody caused by touching the code. This evening is about the failures that look correct: behavioural drift in LLM systems. Output that a human reader would sign off on, that passes every schema check, and that safe fallbacks quietly paper over — so a mis-routed request can go unnoticed for days. We'll look at why the usual answers (add validation, write more evals) don't catch it, and what testing, observability, and plain engineering discipline actually look like when your software is non-deterministic. Then we open it up: a panel on who owns reliability when the code didn't change — system prompts as code vs. config vs. content, safe fallbacks vs. loud failures, and whether an LLM feature can ever earn the same trust as deterministic code. Developers and architects running LLM features in production, or about to — this one's for you. Schedule • 18:00 — Doors, drinks & networking • 18:30 — Welcome & housekeeping • 18:35 — Talk "Behavioral drift: the silent bugs in LLM workflows" by Andrey Minogin + Q&A Andrey Minogin is a software architect in Vienna. He has spent seven years building a JVM and PostgreSQL product, most recently LLM workflows in production, and also does fixed-scope performance audits for Java, Kotlin and Postgres systems. He writes at minogin.com. • 19:15 — Short break • 19:25 — Panel discussion \- Martin Galusinski, SQUER \- Andrey Minogin, software architect, Vienna \- TBD • 20:05 — Open networking Details • 📅 Tuesday, 6 October 2026 • 🕕 18:00 • 🗣️ Language: English • 🎓 Level: Intermediate — developers and architects
