Wir leben in einer Zeit, in der fast alles darauf ausgelegt ist, ersetzt zu werden. Nachrichten verschwinden nach 24 Stunden. Fotos verschwinden im Archiv. Gedanken verschwinden, bevor wir sie zu Ende gedacht haben.
Der Oktober ist Keeping Season: die Zeit des Erntens, Sammelns und Bewahrens. Und genau darum geht es an diesem Abend - um die Frage, die alles trägt:
"In a disposable age, what is worth keeping?"
Ein Abend über das, was bleiben darf - über Erinnerungen und das bewusste Festhalten in einer Welt, die nur noch zum Wegwerfen gebaut scheint.
Zum ersten Mal öffnen wir dafür gemeinsam mit Paper Republic deren Store La Maison in der Wiener Innenstadt - ein Ort, der seit jeher dem Handwerk des Bewahrens in Form von Schreiben gewidmet ist.
Der Abend entfaltet sich in drei Akten:
📖 AKT I - Dialog
Ein moderiertes Gespräch zur Leitfrage des Abends. Kein Frontalvortrag, kein Speaker/Audience Setting, sondern ein Raum, in dem gemeinsam auf Augenhöhe kommuniziert wird. Was bedeutet es, etwas im Jahr 2026 zu Bewahren? Was halten wir fest, was lassen wir gehen und wer entscheidet das eigentlich?

Jeder Gast erhält ein exklusives für diesen Abend produziertes aime × Paper Republic Ledernotizbuch. Geführt von Schreibimpulsen schreibst du die erste Seite noch vor Ort - dein erster Eintrag , das dich weit über diesen Abend hinaus begleiten wird.
Verteilt über den Raum liegen Sofortbildkameras von Instax, die als zusätzliches Medium zum Aufbewahren von Erinnerungen verwendet werden können. Was du festhältst, hältst du nun wirklich fest - und zwar in deinen eigenen Händen.
🎶 AKT III - Vinyl Session & Verbindung
Gedimmtes Licht, ein Plattenspieler und kuratierte Schallplatten. Offenes Ende, kein erzwungenes Programm. Alles ohne Zeitdruck für Gespräche, die tiefer gehen sollen, als du es vielleicht von typischen Networking Events kennst.

HARDWIRED is the TU Wien Robotics Club's meetup series for the people who actually build things — robots, machines, medical devices, and the systems that aren't allowed to fail. For Vol. 03 we're guests at the Vienna office of Ketryx. Ketryx builds an AI-native compliance platform for life sciences: automated validation, traceability and FDA/EU-MDR documentation across the entire product lifecycle. Three of the world's five largest medtech manufacturers run on it. Last year the company closed a $39M Series B, with engineering split between Boston and Vienna. We think that's one of the most interesting problems in deep tech right now, and one most hardware people run into sooner or later: how do you move fast when a bug isn't a bug, but a patient? Regulation is usually treated as the thing that slows engineering down. Ketryx treats it as an engineering problem. That reframing is worth an evening.
