Stemness, Regeneration and Immunity: from development to therapy

MAR1
09:30 · Europe / London
  • This two-day international symposium brings together researchers from stem cell biology, immunology, developmental biology and regenerative medicine.
  • It explores how these fields intersect to advance understanding of human health and disease.
  • The event is designed for scientists and clinicians interested in therapeutic innovation through regenerative and immune-based research.

About this event

Following the success of the first two editions in 2022 and 2024, we are delighted to announce the third Stemness, Regeneration and Immunity Symposium, bringing together leading researchers from stem cell biology, immunology, developmental biology and regenerative medicine to explore how these interconnected disciplines are transforming our understanding of human health and disease.
This two-day international symposium will examine the molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern cell identity, tissue organisation, immune tolerance and regeneration across multiple biological systems. A central question underlying the meeting is how the intersections between stemness, immunity and development shape tissue physiology, and how targeting these pathways can lead to transformative new therapies.
The programme will bring together internationally recognised experts spanning basic discovery science, developmental processes and translational research. Discussions will address how regenerative and developmental programmes are disrupted in disease, how immune responses support or constrain tissue repair, and how emerging technologies are enabling the next generation of cell, gene and immune-based therapies.
The symposium will feature two keynote lectures, invited presentations from leading international scientists, selected short talks, flash presentations and poster sessions. Dedicated networking opportunities, roundtable discussions and trainee-focused activities will foster interactions between early-career researchers and established leaders in the field.
We warmly welcome the participation from scientists, clinicians and trainees interested in understanding how the convergence of stem cell biology, immunity and regeneration can drive future therapeutic innovation and address major unmet medical needs.
