Source Code #3 — London meetup for journalists and technologists

SEP29
18:00 · Europe / London

About this event

What is it?
Source Code is an in-person meetup and networking event for anyone interested in the intersection of journalism and technology. If you’ve been to Hacks/Hackers LDN before, you’ll recognise the vibe: open, practical, and focused on sharing what actually works (and what doesn’t) in news and tech.
Whether you’re coding tools for newsrooms, experimenting with AI, launching media startups, or simply passionate about storytelling in the digital age, Source Code is your community. Expect talks, hands-on demos, collaborative problem-solving, and plenty of opportunities to swap ideas with peers who get it.
This event is supported by Qwoted, which is sponsoring a round of drinks.
On the agenda
"The authenticity playbook: Building communities that matter" by Rachel Duffy, Head of Community, The Times
"Swipe-right journalism: An audience development story, told in slides" by Julia Munslow, Senior Editor, Social, Wall Street Journal
"Resisting the machine: A queer critique of AI" by G Randall, Lecturer, Manchester Metropolitan University
A lightning talk sponsored by Qwoted
We're still working on the line-up of speakers. Have something to pitch? Contact us :)
Who should come?
Journalists, editors, developers, product managers, SEO and audience specialists, and anyone building at the intersection of media and tech.

Stay up to date
Follow us on LinkedIn for speaker announcements.

Who are we?
