Fire safety legislation (Overview)
Understanding the physics and chemistry of fire
Development and spread of fire
Action in the event of a fire
Means of raising alarm
Means of summoning the fire brigade
Action on hearing the fire alarm
Evacuation procedures
Fire warden duties: Conducting an evacuation & Understanding emergency plans/procedures
Please Note: If you are attending the course via Zoom there will be no practical element to the course (as in you will not discharge a fire extinguisher) The instructor will demonstrate the correct use of discharging/using. This may shorten the course by 30 minutes to an hour.
Certification: A Guardian Safety Fire Warden Training Certificate (3-year certificate) is awarded to participants once they have successfully completed the course.
Participants can select their preferred attendance method, either participating online through Zoom or attending in person.

All participants must be fluent in English.

If you have opted to attend in person, registration will begin 15 minutes prior to the start time of the course.

Those who wish to meet their legal responsibilities for training under Health and Safety legislation and industry-specific codes of practice. The course is specially designed for those who wish to become Fire Warden Instructors and/or for the person in charge. Course Duration: The course runs for 2 days from 9.30 AM - 5.00 PM each day.
