Times: 9.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m
The course will be delivered in person as face-to-face, classroom training, at our premises.
Who Should Attend:
The course is specially designed for those who wish to become an Abrasive Wheels Instructor. Those who want to deliver Abrasive Wheels Training to employees, customers, and management. The scope and aim of the Abrasive Wheels Instructor Training are to give learners the skills, knowledge, and experience (& of course the qualification) to deliver their own Abrasive Wheels training in-house.

Theory Covers
Abrasive Wheels Regulations 2016 (Replace 1992 regulations on 1st July 2016)
Selecting the correct wheel for the job
Marking system on abrasive wheels CE and EN
Speed of wheels
Guarding grinding and cutting operations
Functions of components, flanges, blotters, etc.
Differences between grinding and cutting operations
Practical session
Inspection & testing of abrasive wheels
Dressing and truing of abrasive wheels
Identifying the hazards of working with abrasive wheels
Designing a training session
Using training aids

Certification:
An Abrasive Wheels Instructor Certificate (5 years) is awarded to participants once they have successfully completed the course.
Participants can select their preferred attendance method, either participating online through Zoom or attending in person.
Pre-requisites to attend the course:
All participants must be fluent in English.
