Wer entscheidet, was dazu gehört und was nicht? Wie unterscheidet er sich vom sogenannten Mainstream? Und was passiert, wenn Gegenkultur selbst zum verkaufbaren Produkt wird?

Dieses Panel bringt bewusst unterschiedliche Perspektiven aus Clubkultur, Kunst, Musikindustrie und Szene zusammen und diskutiert Underground als kulturelle Praxis ebenso wie als funktionierendes Marktsegment. Im Zentrum stehen Fragen nach Glaubwürdigkeit, Kommerz, Deutungshoheit, Ästhetik und politischer Haltung innerhalb elektronischer Musik- und Clubkultur.
Diskutiert wird unter anderem, wie sich Underground verändert hat, weshalb bestimmte Szenen als authentisch gelten und andere nicht — und ob Underground heute überhaupt noch unabhängig von Marktlogiken existieren kann.
