The August meetup will be a doozie!
One year ago our meetup focused on The State of Jobs in tech and open source and the impact of AI - and interest was through the roof. This month, we'll revisit the same topic one year later as things continue to change and evolve rapidly.
Programming will include a State of IT Jobs 15-minute talk from Taylor Desseyn, VP of Global Community @ Randstad Digital/Torc, a panel discussion featuring Hiring Managers and Jobs experts, as well as an onsite Jobs Board with active, open jobs.
The meetup is free to attend, but an RSVP is required. Networking, swag (shirts, hats and stickers) will be plentiful, and (limited) food and beverages will be available.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, live programming kicks off at 6:30 sharp.
We'll be back at The Barn at Bandwidth's RTP campus. It's a world-class venue and it's one our community LOVES visiting!

We’re excited to bring Walking Mastermind™ to Raleigh-Durham Climate Week, organized by Carolina Climate and Raleigh-Durham Startup Co., and to continue our partnership with Carolina Climate, creating space for founders and leaders to connect, learn from each other, and strengthen the climate community across our region and beyond! Join climate founders, leaders, community builders, and curious professionals for a walk, meaningful conversations, and an easier way to meet people without having to work the room a moment before the Raleigh-Durham Climate Week (RDCW) officially begins for the first time right here in the Triangle. Read More HERE Each month we have a theme for the walk: Our November theme is GRATITUDE, a chance to appreciate the founders and beyond working with purpose toward a healthier planet, recognize those who make that work possible, and pause to give ourselves some credit along the way. WHAT TO EXPECT Let’s answer a few questions you might have 🙋 Can I come alone? Absolutely. Many people do. You do not need to know anyone before you arrive. We will pair you with 1–2 people for the Walk & Talk. 👟 What should I wear? We let you choose, whether that’s casual, workout clothes, everyday clothes, or whatever you’re wearing to the RDCW event that day. It all works! We usually walk about 1 mile at a conversational pace, about a 20–25 minute walk, so wear any shoes you’re comfortable walking in around downtown. No special walking gear needed. 💬 What will we talk about? Each month, we explore a focused theme connected to work, life, and how we navigate both, with a few questions to guide the conversation so you do not have to figure out what to talk about or how to get started when you walk. The questions are there to get you started, not to keep you on a script. If your conversation takes you somewhere else worth exploring, follow it (we just want you to enjoy the walk & talk). 👋 Do I have to introduce myself to everyone? No long introductions and no eleva
Please join us at our upcoming event to be held on November 5, 2026, at the Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh
The is no question that AI and Agents have changed just about every aspect of building companies. It is easy to get overwhelmed and unsure which way to go. You are not alone! Join us for an evening of intentional networking and facilitated table conversations designed for founders, operators, and builders who are all facing the same changing landscape. 6:30 - 6:55: Networking 7:00 - 7:30: Table session 1 7:35 - 8:05: Table session 2 8:10 - 8:40: Table session 3 8:40 - 9:00: Networking Each table will be lead by amazing founders and mentors from around the Triangle and will focus on a single topic where we can learn from each other about various pain points that startups go through every day. Who should come: If you are building something (or thinking about it), this is for you. Whether you are pre or post revenue, bootstrapped or VC funded, you will walk away with fresh perspectives and real connections. Drinks and food will be provided.
