[Pre-DevFest] The "Touch Grass" Buildathon

NOV21
09:00 · Asia / Kolkata

About this event

We always joke about developers needing to go outside and touch grass. Well, we're finally making it mandatory.
Join us for a 2 hour sprint to build and ship an MVP - happening entirely outdoors in a park. We are stripping away the ergonomic office chairs, the perfect dual-monitor setups, and the air conditioning. It’s just you, your laptop battery, and whatever you can manage to build before brunch.
What to Expect
Nature, unfiltered: We are literally building in a park. You will need a fully charged laptop, a mobile hotspot, and probably some sunscreen. Trees do not have power outlets, and if your laptop is one of those that dies in exactly 8 minutes, create a remote coding setup at your house before you come.
Actually Shipping: No three-month roadmaps or feature creep allowed. You have a exactly 2 hours to build a working prototype and demo it to the group.
Zero Corporate Pressure: There are no enterprise sponsors breathing down your neck forcing you to use their specific cloud credits. Build what you want, however you want.
Bugs (both kinds): You'll be debugging your architecture while dealing with actual outdoor elements. It’s the ultimate test of developer focus.
Food afterwards is on us, but please carry water bottles, energy drinks, soft drinks / anything else you might need.

Achija Pav Bhaji Meetup

Mumbai, India, Mumbai, India
In person

Reject cafe modernity; embrace good old pav bhaji tradition. If you come to Mumbai and do not have a plate of buttery Pav Bhaji at Achija's, some would say you never really came to Mumbai. We cannot let that happen. Join us for a trek to the lands of Ghatkopar for some good, hearty food before we kick off Summit Week. Brought to you by our friends at Umbra. Umbra is a privacy layer for Solana that enables shielded transfers and encrypted swaps. Users can selectively disclose their activity when compliance requires it.

Ship Safe: Devcon Mumbai Security Sessions by QuillAudits

Mumbai, India, Mumbai, India
In person

Last day of Devcon. Before you head to the closing party, spend one session on the thing that decides whether what you shipped this week survives contact with mainnet. Ship Safe is QuillAudits' security session for Devcon Mumbai: real exploit teardowns, a practical audit-readiness clinic, and a panel on what actually broke in 2026 and why. Short talks, hard questions, then drinks. What to expect Exploit teardowns: we walk through the biggest 2026 incidents line by line. Where the bug was, why the audit missed it, what the fix looked like. Audit readiness: how to prepare a codebase so an audit finds real issues instead of formatting nits. Scoping, invariants, test coverage, what to freeze before review. AI vs AI: how attackers are using AI to find bugs faster, and what AI-assisted auditing and formal verification change for teams shipping on tight timelines. Panel: founders, auditors and researchers on the security debt building up across L2s, RWA and stablecoin rails, and what they would do differently. Networking and drinks from 6:45 PM. Who should come Founders, CTOs and protocol engineers shipping on Ethereum and L2s. Security researchers and auditors. RWA, stablecoin and DeFi teams. Anyone who wants an honest look at how things break. About QuillAudits 8+ years securing Web3. 1,500+ audits, 1M+ lines reviewed, trusted by teams including StarkWare, Taiko, ZetaChain and Metis. Full lifecycle security: AI and human audits, OpSec, multisig review and monitoring. Venue in BKC, Mumbai, shared with confirmed attendees. Seats are limited and every registration is reviewed.
