Whether you're actively considering angel investing or simply curious about how the startup investment ecosystem works, this session is designed to give you an accessible introduction to the world of angel investing. Who is it for? How to get started? What to have in mind? …and more.
During this session, we'll also introduce the Transatlantic Angel Conference (TAAC)—our flagship hands-on investor training program that helps aspiring and experienced investors learn by doing. Participants work alongside a diverse cohort of investors from Europe and the US, reviewing real startups, conducting due diligence, hearing founder pitches, and ultimately making investment decisions together.

What angel investing is and how the ecosystem works
An introduction to the Transatlantic Angel Conference (TAAC)
How the learning-by-doing model helps investors gain real-world experience
Yelmer Wismer's experience as a TAAC participant and investor
