Event description: Quarkus Build Day: Building Production-Ready Microservices Join us for an evening of learning, networking, and hands-on engineering as we explore how to build production-ready Java microservices with Quarkus. We'll kick off the evening with dinner and networking, to connect with fellow engineers and share experiences. Followed by a opening talk from John Shaw, who’ll discuss the role of modern cloud-native development within Lloyds Banking Group’s engineering landscape. The event will be a hands-on build workshop, where participants will work through a practical Quarkus application while learning key concepts such as REST APIs, persistence, security, containerisation, and production-ready development practices.
