FoodHack Zürich: Soybeans - One Ingredient, Countless Forms
About this event
We meet again! This time, to discuss the humble soybean.
Soybeans - One Ingredient, Countless Forms 🌱
Every day, we cross paths with soybeans in ways we rarely notice.
Have you ever stopped to think about how many forms a soybean can take? Tofu, tempeh, soy sauce, meat and seafood analogs - the list goes on.
This humble legume carries a deep cultural history and has been transformed into an incredible range of products. As the crop makes further inroads into European diets, we're eager to explore soy's cultural relevance, consumer opinion, its transformation potential into a range of products, and how our relationship with this ingredient might evolve.
Join us for an evening exploring soybeans with food scientists, product developers, and people who just love to eat! More details on exact topics and speakers to follow.
This event is free, but registration is required. Sign up early to secure your spot.
