Your genes are not your destiny, and science can now show why. At this free evening in Vienna, Dr. Berit Hippe of HealthBioCare explains how your daily habits switch genes on and off and why your body can age faster or slower than your birthday suggests.
Then we will get a special insider tour through a real epigenetics laboratory to see how it's measured.
What is epigenetics about?
For a long time, we thought our DNA was set in stone: the genes we're born with decide how our health turns out. Over the past two decades, science has shown a different picture. Our lifestyle and environment help switch genes on or off, and that is what epigenetics studies.
