Dan Lykens, Electromechanical Engineer at Production Systems Automation. Dan is a multidisciplinary engineer and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in electromechanical systems, PCB design, and product development. At PSA, he leads defense-focused R&D projects, specializing in rugged electronics. Dan combines deep technical proficiency in PCB design, CAD modeling, and advanced prototyping techniques.
David Levine, Senior Solutions Engineer, Viam. Viam is a software platform for building, deploying, and managing robotics applications. Viam brings software engineering practices to robotics: version control, remote monitoring and diagnostics, staged rollouts, and a registry of modules and models you can build on. At Viam, David is one of the leaders of robotic solution design -- including hardware, electronics, safety systems, and supporting software -- for automation customers across various industries. Prior to joining Viam, David received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UPenn in 2023 and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell in 2017, and previously founded a robotics startup in the Philadelphia ecosystem, which was later supported by the Cornell Tech Runway Postdoctoral Fellowship.
