This time, we're back at Delve's office on Arch Street. Hardware Meetups happen across 30+ cities monthly and help bring together different professionals to connect and meet each other. We will have a great set of featured speakers for the evening!: Dan Lykens, Electromechanical Engineer at Production Systems Automation. Dan is a multidisciplinary engineer and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in electromechanical systems, PCB design, and product development. At PSA, he leads defense-focused R&D projects, specializing in rugged electronics. Dan combines deep technical proficiency in PCB design, CAD modeling, and advanced prototyping techniques. David Levine, Senior Solutions Engineer, Viam. Viam is a software platform for building, deploying, and managing robotics applications. Viam brings software engineering practices to robotics: version control, remote monitoring and diagnostics, staged rollouts, and a registry of modules and models you can build on. At Viam, David is one of the leaders of robotic solution design -- including hardware, electronics, safety systems, and supporting software -- for automation customers across various industries. Prior to joining Viam, David received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UPenn in 2023 and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell in 2017, and previously founded a robotics startup in the Philadelphia ecosystem, which was later supported by the Cornell Tech Runway Postdoctoral Fellowship. Daniel Marcq, Client Partner and Senior Director of Electrical & Software Engineering at Delve. ## Claude Code vs. Codex: Loops, Graphs, and Harnesses This is a casual pair-programming meetup for developers experimenting with Claude Code, Codex, and agentic coding workflows. There is no formal presentation and no fixed curriculum. Bring a laptop, a repository, a side project, or a workflow you want to test. We will work in small groups, compare approaches, debug problems, and share what is working. Possible areas to explore include: Building iterative coding-agent loops Comparing Claude Code and Codex on the same task Designing graph-based agent workflows Creating reusable coding harnesses Managing context across large repositories Running tests and validating agent-generated changes Using sandboxes, permissions, and approval steps Coordinating subagents or parallel tasks Measuring latency, token usage, cost, and completion quality Debugging failed or incomplete agent runs You do not need to be an expert in either tool. # 🤖 AI Agent Hackathon ## Two Days. Two Locations. One Hackathon. Join Coffee & Code Philadelphia for a hands-on, in-person hackathon focused on building, experimenting with, and shipping working AI-agent projects. The main Build Day takes place on September 20 at Pennovation Center. Winners will be announced during our Awards & Community Night on September 22 at Cesium. You can arrive with a team, meet collaborators at the event, build independently, or join without a finished project idea. ## 👤 Who Should Attend?
