Developer's Gym: Coding Dojo

HackerspaceSG @ Textile Centre, Singapore · Junior Developers Singapore
In person

Dates: 22 August 2026 - LeetCode 5 September 2026 - Coding Dojo 19 September 2026 - LeetCode 3 October 2026 - Coding Dojo 17 October 2026 - LeetCode 31 October 2026 - Coding Dojo Timing: 2pm onwards Venue: HackerspaceSG Address: Textile Centre, #08-10, Singapore 199018 We'll be hanging out to practice some social coding - either as LeetCode Practice or as a Coding Dojo. \#\# No food provided \#\# Bring your laptop \#\# # We will be doing the Coding Dojo this week. Do you know what a Coding Dojo is? \> A Coding Dojo is a meeting where a bunch of coders get together to work on a programming challenge\. They are there to have fun and to engage in Deliberate Practice in order to improve their skills\. The focus of the Coding Dojo would be to help you improve your skills in the language you are working on (or ramping up on). We also hope that pair-programming with more experienced devs will help you level up. Format wise, the team will be given a Code Kata (a coding puzzle) where they have to solve by writing code. And through pair-programming, they will learn about writing test (TDD) and using advanced coding techniques from the more experienced devs in your group. ====================== What is a Code Kata? A kata is an exercise in karate where you repeat a form many, many times, making little improvements in each. You need to try it as many times as it takes, and be comfortable making mistakes. You need to look for feedback each time so you can work to improve. Remember that the point of the kata is not arriving at a correct answer. The point is the stuff you learn along the way. The goal is the practice, not the solution. # About JuniorDev SG: JuniorDevSG is a developer interest group that focuses on providing a place for junior developers to learn and network with each other. At the same time, we seek to be a support system to help junior developers break into tech, navigate their careers as well growing them to one day become senior developers or

Agentic Finance & Payments Summit @ Token2049 - Reap x Payward x Visa

Singapore
In person

Hosted by Reap, Payward Services and Visa. Every payment system in use today assumes a human is on the other end. That assumption is about to break: Agents don't wait for settlement windows or bank holidays, and the infrastructure for machine-speed, cross-border spending doesn't exist yet. It's being decided now, by a small number of companies, in a small number of rooms. Join Reap, Visa, and Payward Services for an invite-only half-day summit on agentic payments and finance. Five unsettled questions discussed by practitioners who are shipping, underwriting, or regulating this today, working through what has to be true before software can spend on someone's behalf. 🗓️ 6 October 2026, 10:30am–2:00pm (pre-TOKEN2049) 👥 80–150 invited leaders and executives across cards, stablecoins, exchanges, traditional finance, and AI partners. Followed by two hours of curated lunch networking. The conversations that matter happen after the microphones go down. Please note: Registration is required, and all requests are subject to approval. Due to limited capacity, submitting a registration does not guarantee entry. Our team will confirm your registration prior to the event. We look forward to hosting you in Singapore during Token2049 week! By signing up, you agree to receive marketing emails and promotional updates from us. You can unsubscribe at any time.
