About this event

Builders & Brews: Hack Edition ☕️💻
Builders & Brews, our flagship builder community event series, is getting a hands-on build-day twist and going global.
Nebius and Tavily are taking a special tour to 20 cities worldwide, bringing workshops, technical support, and focused build time to the global AI community. We’re excited to bring the experience to Boston with a special partnership with Nous Research!
The tour is happening alongside the Nebius Global AI Hackathon, hosted in partnership with NVIDIA. Builders worldwide are invited to create with open-source AI and compete for more than $50,000 in cash prizes, including a $500 city winner prize.
Bring an idea, a project in progress, or simply your curiosity. You’ll get hands-on support, meet the Nebius team, access additional platform credits, and connect with potential teammates.
The hackathon is online, so attending this event is not required to participate or qualify for prizes.
Not competing? You’re just as welcome. There’s no requirement to submit a project or present your work. Come for the coffee, meet other people working in AI, explore the technology, and spend the day learning or building at your own pace.

Corn Courier: Newspaper Design w/ AI

Cambridge, MA, Cambridge, United States
In person

As designers, we’ve long been told that InDesign is the top tool for serious print work. But most of us spend our days in Figma—why aren't we using modern design systems, plugins, and Claude workflows for our print projects? At Offrange, Ambrook’s editorial publication, we make our print newspapers entirely in Figma, with Claude in the workflow, and print them with Newspaper Club in the UK. Ali Aas (Creative Director, Ambrook and Offrange) and Jesse Hirsch (Editor, Offrange) will take you behind the scenes of how the Corn Courier and Tomato Times were made, from layout setup to print-ready files. Schedule: 5:30PM: Doors Open 6:00PM: Presentation and Q&A 6:45PM: Mingle If you’re a print-curious individual, come say hi! Everyone will get copies of Corn Courier and Tomato Times to take home. This is a 21+ event. Drinks and small bites will be provided.

AI x Tough Tech Founders & Builders Walk

Area Four, Cambridge, United States
In person

Join Foray Bioscience and the Massachusetts AI Coalition for a two-mile walk bringing together founders and company leaders working at the intersection of AI and Tough Tech. We’ll meet at Area Four in Technology Square, walk to the Charles River and back, and finish with coffee. The goal is to step away from the screen, enjoy the fresh fall air, and make space for thoughtful conversation about what it takes to apply AI solutions in the real world from science and engineering to manufacturing, infrastructure, and the physical economy. This will be an opportunity to meet fellow founders and leaders to explore the opportunities and challenges that emerge when AI moves beyond just software and into the systems around us.
