20-20 - a Pecha-Kucha style event for AI Builders (members+, in-person, Lisbon)

AIhub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

Twenty slides. Twenty seconds each. No pausing, no going back. Red Bridge is launching its first Pecha-Kucha style night — 20-20 — a fast-paced format built to make AI builders do the hardest thing in tech: get to the point. Each presenter takes the floor with 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide. The deck advances whether you're ready or not, so what's left is the essence of an idea — enough to spark a conversation, start a collaboration, or find the one person in the room already working on the thing you needed. Come to present, or come to watch the ideas fly. Either way, expect sharp thinking, good company, and the kind of connections that only happen at RedBridge Lisbon. Open to RedBridge Lisbon members and the wider Lisbon AI community. Hosted at AI Hub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa. 🗓️ Thursday, September 17 · 6:30–8:30pm 📍 AI Hub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa Want to present? Apply here: https://tally.so/r/68YA8O

Lisbon Tech COnnect: Let's talk about AI

Av. Dom João II 49, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

Lisbon Tech Connect: Let’s Talk About AI 🤖 Putting Machines Back in Their Place What’s worth building in the orchestrator economy? AI has made building cheap. Anyone can spin up a website, an app, or a campaign in an afternoon. So the questions have changed: What’s actually worth building? And who’s really in control? Join us on 17 September for a frank conversation about AI, work, decision-making, and what happens when our job shifts from doing the work to directing the machines that do it. 🎤 Speakers Bharath Rao — Founder, Sitting Pretty & host of Ego to Eureka Tetiana Torovets — Senior Director of Data Science, SIXT Akshay Ruparelia — Co-founder & CEO, Brdge AI; Forbes 30 Under 30 Three perspectives, one big question: How do we put machines back in their place — as engines we direct rather than forces that direct us? Expect sharp insights, uncomfortable questions, live reflections, and practical takeaways for founders, operators, managers, tech professionals, and anyone navigating the AI transition. 📅 Agenda 18:30 — Registration & networking 19:00 — Welcome 19:10 — Speaker sessions & conversation 20:00 — Networking with the community 21:00 — Event ends Why join? Two years ago, watching AI build a website in a minute felt like magic. Today, that demo is the baseline. We’ve all become orchestrators — founders, developers, marketers, managers and operators directing increasingly powerful AI systems. Come explore what that means for what we build, how we work, and who stays in control. You’ll also have plenty of time to meet founders, tech professionals, startups and innovators from across Lisbon’s growing tech ecosystem. 💡 Want to speak or partner with Lisbon Tech Connect? Founders Fire: SaaS Apocalypse Now

Lisboa, Portugal, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

A Night Around the Fire for Founders Building the Next Era Our last event became one of the key startup gatherings in Lisbon in July, bringing together top founders and investors from AI and Web3 (check the video!). This time, we’re tackling a question that’s becoming impossible to ignore: SaaS Apocalypse Now: AI kills SaaS or transforms it? AI is changing more than just the product; it’s reshaping the entire SaaS economics: pricing, distribution, unit economics, and team structures. What will be left of the traditional SaaS model? What business models will replace it? And who will win in the new AI economy? The evening will bring together 50 selected founders and VCs from AI and SaaS. No fluff, no badges, just a real conversation around the campfire. 🕒 Agenda 6:00 PM Welcome Guest arrival, welcome drinks, and first introductions. 6:30 PM SaaS Roast A live teardown of how AI is breaking the traditional SaaS model, and what founders need to change to survive and win in the new era. 7:30 PM Fireside Chat with VCs What business model will become the “new SaaS”? A candid conversation about where the venture market is heading and what kinds of companies will attract capital in the AI era. 8:30 PM Networking by the Fire Drinks, conversations, and networking around a real fire with founders and investors Memebers of jury and panel: Klavdia Potapova, Nebius; Mike Zakharov, AltaIR Capital; Denis Kalyshkin, I2BF; Stepan Gershuni, Cyber Fund; Saachin Bhatt, Bridge Confirmed guests include founders and C-level from: Albato, Lince Capital, Ocean Capital, Lunar Ventures, Start Ventures, Fellowers.AI, Tryp.com, Zendesk, GoMining, HumanSignal, CORE Angels, Tradora AI, Lido Fi, Endeavour, Circle.
