A Modern App Development Meetup
About this event
Agents can write your UI now. The more interesting question is what that does to everything around the writing - the design handoff, the review, the verification, the call on what actually ships.
JetBrains, Callstack and Expo are teaming up for an evening in Amsterdam on exactly that. Three talks, practical and production-level.
Whether you build for web, mobile or both, if agents are already in your workflow (or about to be), this one's for you.

─── TALKS ───
From Design to Done in One Shot With a Cheap Model by Michał Pierzchała · Principal Engineer, Callstack
Getting a frontier model to one-shot a mobile design into a working app is simple enough, and usually works ok-ish. But what if you don't have access to one and still want to turn designs into shipped features, repeatedly and at cost? Michał walks through the simple verification loops that take the chance of a PR getting merged first go from 60% to 98%.
Agents Didn't Kill the UI Developer Workflow – They Changed It by Craig Walker · Product Manager, JetBrains (WebStorm), and Kasper Peulen · Software Engineer, Chromatic (StoryBook)
As AI agents take over the mechanical work of writing UI code, developers are spending less time in design, code, and verification and more time between them — composing intent, steering output, and deciding what ships. A look at how Storybook's new agent-native CLI and WebStorm's design-to-browser agent workflows are each built for exactly that shift.
Cedric van Putten · Expo Abstract coming shortly.

Pitch Elevator
Pitch Elevator | By World Trade Center Amsterdam, Golden Egg Check & StartupAmsterdam
World Trade Center Amsterdam, Golden Egg Check and StartupAmsterdam are joining forces to bring founders and investors together under one roof. The goal is simple: spark useful conversations, open doors to capital, and kick off real partnerships. Golden Egg Check brings StartupRoulette, its matchmaking flagship event connecting founders actively raising a (pre-)seed round with investors who back companies at the earliest stages. Four 15-minute speed dates, carefully matched before the event. We pair founders and investors based on fit so the time at the table actually means something. If the match is right, it could be the start of your next round. 29 speed-date tables, and 1 with a twist: Pitching inside an elevator. Keep an eye in your inbox, you might be the one selected! Once the Roulette wraps up the evening opens into informal drinks and mingling. Plenty of time to meet the wider room and have the conversations that don't fit into 15 minutes. It's also a chance to see WTC Amsterdam's new working spaces and grow your network, whether you're raising, investing, or just curious about what's being built right now. Open to all digital startups in the Netherlands and the investors backing them. Signing up doesn't guarantee a full speed date agenda. Matches are made based on investor focus and scope. The deadline to sign up to the speed dates is on 22nd September 2026. Any registration after that day will go directly to the waiting list. Being on the waiting list does not ensure acceptance to the event.
