3 platform requirements for agentic engineering

NOV4
23:30 · Asia / Kolkata

About this event

Agentic engineering only works if the platform underneath it can support autonomous action safely. Justin Billig and Dan Rye, co-founders of Tensure, break down the three platform capabilities engineering organizations need to move agents out of experimentation and into production: a controlled action layer, identity and guardrails, and a feedback loop.

You'll come away knowing

  1. 1.How to build a controlled action layer that exposes approved capabilities to agents through APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps rather than direct infrastructure access.
  2. 2.How to give each agent an identity, scoped permissions, and explicit boundaries so autonomy stays bounded and humans approve what matters.
  3. 3.How to close the feedback loop with observability, testing, policy checks, SLOs, and audit data so agents know whether an action worked and can respond when it didn't.

🎙️ Build Voice Agents This Weekend \| From Idea to Talking Agent — No Code Required 💡 The Opportunity Building a voice agent used to need speech engineers and complex pipelines. Not anymore. Describe how you want your agent to sound and respond, and today's voice AI tools handle the rest — listening, understanding, and speaking back in real time. 🎯 What You'll Learn Think in Conversations: Turn-taking, latency, and interruptions — not just scripts. Live Build: Watch a real voice agent get built and talk back, from scratch. Natural Interaction: See the agent handle interruptions, pauses, and context switches live. Prompting for Voice: The instructions that make agents sound human, not robotic. 🤝 Who Should Attend? First-Time Builders wanting to create something real Founders wanting a working voice MVP without a dev team Professionals wanting to automate calls, support, or outreach Anyone curious about conversational AI 📌 The Details Bring: Laptop, internet, curiosity Bonus: Voice-agent-building cheat sheet + BagOfAI community access Format: Interactive \| 100% Practical This is a Virtual Event Event - https://us06web.zoom.us/j/88671787936?pwd=QHEXHkVWebX7DpvbRQ8x8Z4WsDYb08.1

How to build an enterprise-grade AI software factory

Online, India · Platform Engineers Bangalore
Online

Join Matar Peles, Field CTO at Port, for a hands-on session on turning AI coding agents into a fully automated, end-to-end delivery pipeline. Learn how to build a unified context layer, set up step-by-step factory agents, implement human-in-the-loop approvals for high-risk paths, and track pipeline efficiency, taking a ticket directly to pull request live. We'll dig into: - Setting up the factory itself: map the full process end to end, from the moment work arrives to the moment it ships, so the line has defined steps instead of disconnected automations. - A unified context layer: pull signals from the tools your teams already run into the shared source of truth every agent reasons over: services, owners, dependencies and the standards that apply to each. - Factory agents for each step: onboard an agent per step with a named owner and a scope of what it can touch, so you can connect the next one without rebuilding the line. - Human in the loop gates: name which paths carry enough risk to stop for a person, route each one to whoever owns it, and write their decision back before the work moves on. - Insights and optimization: track what the line ships, how much of it ran without a human, and which step is holding everything up. Speaker: Matar Peles Field CTO, Port Matar Peles is a field CTO at Port, where he shapes how the company connects product and market and guides its technical strategy in the field. He works closely with customers and internal teams to translate real-world needs into product direction, helping ensure Port delivers meaningful impact for engineering organizations. Matar focuses on improving productivity, clarity, and developer experience at scale while supporting teams in getting the most out of Port’s platform.

Reimagining education in the age of AI with Dr. Prathosh A.P. (IISc)

Bengaluru, India, Bengaluru, India
In person

As AI starts to explain almost anything, what is a classroom actually for? AI is changing how we learn, teach and assess. Personalised tutors, instant feedback and generative tools can widen access to quality education, but they also raise hard questions about original thinking, equity and the role of the teacher. The goal of this talk is to create an environment of dialogue and ideas in the room. About Speaker: Dr. Prathosh A. P. is an Assistant Professor in the ECE department at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru and co-founder of Latentforce, AI infra for coding agents. His research focuses on deep learning, representation learning, and data-efficient machine learning, with applications in digital healthcare. He earned his Ph.D. from IISc in 2015 and previously taught at IIT Delhi and worked in research roles at Xerox and Philips. He also co-founded Cogniable, a startup developing AI tools for behavioural healthcare. Join online: meet.google.com/dqi-cwwr-jiw Looking forward to seeing you!
