Discover how a personal practical interest became a company, changing the future of adaptive mobility.
Looking for a way to get back to the outdoors, Christian Bagg began developing early adaptive mobility prototypes to create a product that simply didn't exist. Today, Bowhead Corp. is redefining adaptive mobility by designing products that empower people with disabilities to explore, travel, and experience the outdoors with greater independence and freedom. From adaptive bikes to travel wheelchairs, the company is helping people get back to doing what they love.
In this keynote, Christian will share the founder journey behind building a Calgary-based company that now exports globally, offering an honest look at entrepreneurship, product development, and how he transformed one prototype into a company with global impact.
CEO Kelly Matheson-King, a well known business leader in the Calgary region with deep expertise in scaling companies, will map out the growth strategy of the company while staying true to the core values and the vision. Kelly will speak of what it takes to prepare a team for this type of growth.
