The Human Equation — Film Screening & Conversation on AI and the Future of Humanity
Trailer:
What happens when artificial intelligence becomes more powerful than humanity itself?
Join us for a special screening of The Human Equation, a new 25-minute science-fiction short film written and directed by Karney Hatch and filmed in Barcelona.
Set in a near future where Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) has taken control of the world’s nuclear arsenal, the film follows a scientist summoned to meet an AI android — and to discover what the future may hold for the human race.
Through fiction, The Human Equation explores some of the biggest questions at the heart of today’s AI debate: control, alignment, human agency, responsibility, and what our place might be in a world shaped by superintelligent machines.
More than a film screening, the session offers a thought-provoking starting point for a broader conversation about AI, ethics, existential risk and the future of humanity.
