About this event

Join us for an insightful technical evening at our Sunshine Coast Local Info Session with Grant Law, Certified Master Thermographer and Director of GTEK Infrared.

Grant will provide an informative overview of thermal imaging and infrared fundamentals, including an explanation of how the technology works, its applications within the building and construction industry, and key considerations when selecting equipment that is fit for purpose.

Through live practical demonstrations, Grant will explain the principles of infrared imaging, image composition, and camera functionality, providing attendees with a greater understanding of how thermal imaging is used to assess and interpret building conditions.

The session will also explore how thermal imaging can assist in identifying temperature variations associated with issues such as moisture ingress, insulation deficiencies, air leakage, electrical hot spots, and other building anomalies, while discussing both the capabilities and limitations of the technology.

PCA Ground Engineering will also share a short presentation on how micropiles help overcome difficult ground conditions, restricted access, and underpinning challenges in residential projects.
