Riserva Lisbon | Stablecoins over wine at Fintech Meetup Europe

Lisboa, Portugal, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

The night before Fintech Meetup Europe opens, Range is hosting a small evening of wine and the conversations that don't fit in a conference hallway. We're bringing together 30 to 40 senior finance, treasury, compliance and payments leaders working across stablecoins, digital assets and fiat, with Coinbase joining us for the evening. Keith Grose, CEO of Coinbase UK, will sit down with Andres Monteoliva, co-founder and CEO of Range, for a fireside conversation on what European fintechs are planning across stablecoins and digital assets. Along with the fireside, we'll have a guided tasting of three wines and a cocktail reception, with frank conversations under Chatham House Rules. You'll meet the fintech and stablecoin leaders working on the same problems you are: payments, licensing, treasury, and the risk and compliance layers underneath stablecoin adoption at scale. Spots are limited and approval-based. Register now. About Range Range is the leading stablecoin treasury and risk management platform for financial institutions, trusted by the Solana Foundation, Circle, Stellar, Squads, and more. We provide the compliance, risk, and routing systems required to manage and move digital assets safely across blockchains. Used by fintechs, asset issuers, and custodians, our platform acts as the system of record for digital asset treasuries, aggregating balances, transactions, and counterparties across wallets, custodians, exchanges, and blockchains. Whether you're building programmable treasuries or privacy flows, Range helps ensure they're safe, compliant, and ready for scale. Learn more at range.org.

Founders Fire: The Race for Europe's Digital Money

Lisboa, Portugal, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

A Night Around the Fire for Founders Building the Next Era Our events became key startup gatherings in Lisbon, bringing together top founders, C-level executives, and investors from companies such as Nebius, Circle, Bitwise, Human Signal, Zendesk, AltaIR Capital, and Indico Capital. Previous events focused on AI & Web3, AI & SaaS; now we will discuss The Race for Europe's Digital Money: Stablecoins, the Digital Euro, and the Transparency Bill Coming Due. Two things just happened that nobody has connected yet. A consortium of 37 European banks confirmed it will launch its euro stablecoin on the public Ethereum blockchain: a genuine bet on the future of European payments. At the same time, new EU rules quietly went live requiring crypto companies to report every transaction to tax authorities. One story is about building faster, freer money. The other is about making sure nothing on that money moves untracked. Оur speakers tackle three questions in plain terms: Who actually benefits from a bank-built euro stablecoin: companies, payment providers, or everyday users? Does the ECB's own digital euro make private stablecoins obsolete, or do the two need each other to work? And as freelancers and gig workers increasingly get paid in stablecoins, is Europe's tax-reporting infrastructure actually ready, or is this the next major compliance headache hiding in plain sight? The evening will bring together 50 selected founders and VCs from Fintech. No fluff, no badges, just a real conversation around the campfire. 🕒 Agenda 6:00 PM Welcome Guest arrival, welcome drinks, and first introductions. 6:30 PM Fireside Chat with Fintech Founders & VCs The Race for Europe's Digital Money: Stablecoins, the Digital Euro, and the Transparency Bill Coming Due. Speakers: Ayo Ojeirinola, Digital Pound Foundation Denis Kaneps, Finboo, co-founder Stuart Barclay, Velocity, head of EMEA 7:30 PM Networking by the Fire Drinks, conversations, and networking around a real fire with founders and invest
