We're welcoming Rob Go to Seattle for a special VC AMA at AI House. Rob is co-founder and partner at NextView Ventures, a Boston-based seed-stage venture firm that leads and co-leads pre-seed and seed rounds with a focus on the "Everyday Economy": software-driven companies changing how people work, shop, manage their health, and handle daily life. Notable investments include WHOOP, Devoted Health, Attentive, Walden Robotics, Tive, and Bobbie. Before NextView, Rob was an investor at Spark Capital and led product for "Finding" at eBay. He holds a bachelor's degree from Duke and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Rob will sit down with AI House Managing Director Yifan Zhang and discuss what stands out in early-stage fundraising right now, how investing has changed in the AI economy, and how to read the market as it shifts. Software for One is back. A personal software science fair for the apps we build for ourselves. Bring the specific little app that solves your problem or makes your life better. It is not for startup pitches or products you are trying to sell. Builders will share personal MCP Apps, generative UI, and how they used Codex or another agent to make them. We're back at Pioneer Square Labs, timed to the Art Walk right after. Three short talks, a panel, and drinks on us. Ana Marini is an education-focused product designer who's been building Lumi, a personal language-learning project, with AI as a design partner. She'll walk through the messy middle of that: what actually happens to your thinking, your judgment, and your creative process when AI becomes part of how you learn and make. Kaelig Deloumeau-Prigent is a design engineering leader who has spent fifteen years building design systems at Shopify, Salesforce, Intuit, and the Financial Times, and co-chairs the W3C Design Tokens Community Group. He'll show how Claude Design, Claude Code, Storybook, and Playwright combine into one agentic workflow that revamps a product's UI from head to toe, design system included, walking through the OpenID Foundation's Conformance Test Suite redesign from user research to the shipped UI. Shuyuan (Sylvia) Ding is a product designer at PenChecks Trust who spent this year going from designer to design engineer, owning both the design and the implementation. She's built a component end to end the way that job works now; AI, engineering collaboration, and QA feedback all in the loop, set against the old model of a detailed handoff and stepping away.
