About this event

# Seattle EdTech Monthly Unconference

What should Seattle’s education and technology community be discussing—and building together?
On the first Tuesday of every month, educators, founders, technologists, designers, researchers, creators, parents, students, and education advocates gather at SURF Incubator for an open, participant-led evening.
There is no predetermined speaker lineup. The people in the room create the agenda.
Bring:

A problem you’re trying to solve
A question you want to explore
Something you’re building
A perspective others should hear
Or simply your curiosity

We’ll begin with quick introductions, propose topics, and choose the conversations together. Depending on attendance, we may hold one shared roundtable or divide into smaller groups.
You don’t need to be an expert—or arrive with a topic—to participate.

## Schedule

5:00–5:30 PM: Optional arrival, refreshments, and conversation
5:30–5:45 PM: Introductions and topic selection
5:45–6:35 PM: Unconference discussions
6:35–6:50 PM: Takeaways and requests
6:50–7:00 PM: Connections and next steps
Come once, come occasionally, or make it part of your monthly routine.
Bring a question, problem, project, or perspective. Leave with clearer thinking—and at least one person you’re glad you met.

## Admission

Pay what you can: $0–$15 suggested
Contributions support refreshments, supplies, event administration, and the continued growth of Seattle’s EdTech community.

## Location

SURF Incubator
999 Third Avenue, Suite 700
Seattle, WA 98104
