Science to Start-Up, a collaboration between Velocity and the Student Association of Medical Sciences (SAMS), invites you to an inspiring evening showcasing how science is transformed into real-world healthcare solutions through start-ups and innovation.
The evening will bring together students, researchers, and founders to explore how ideas in medicine, biomedical science, and the broader scientific disciplines evolve into impactful ventures. Whether you are interested in clinical practice, research, biotech, or start-ups, this is an opportunity to discover the pathways that connect science and innovation.
We will hear firsthand from industry and research leaders about the process of translating scientific ideas into successful inventions and ventures and navigating the early stages of start-up development. This will be followed by a discussion featuring founders and innovators working across medical technology, health systems, and science-based start-ups, who will share their journeys, challenges, and lessons learned.
