Fundraising Day for Nepal

TEJÁ HOUSE, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

Lisbon is home to many with roots or family in Nepal, and many more with love for the place and the people. Tuesday will be a day to show up in love and support for those affected by the tragic flooding occurring there, and to learn and connect with the culture and people. Whether you come by TEJA House for co-working, for a juice or tea, to listen to music or to dance, for food (some of which will be created and donated by some of Lisbon's talented Nepalese chefs), or to buy some art... proceeds will go towards relief efforts. 8:00pm: performance by Sunil Pariyar with percussion If you would like to offer your gifts towards the fundraiser, we are still looking for musical and performance contributions, with priority going to artists with strong connections to Nepal. Please consider contributing through the ticket link, or to our fundraiser here: https://artizen.fund/index/p/nepal-rising--restoring-home-land--livelihood?season=7 A huge and heartfelt thank you to our wonderful sponsor: TEJÁ HOUSE Cais do Sodré 5, Lisboa

Tech Startups on the Rooftop

Carmo rooftop, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

🍻 Tech Startups in the Pub, the successful event series from London, is back in Lisbon!!!!! 🚀 Our first Lisbon edition brought together 60+ people from the tech community, representing 15+ countries — founders, freelancers, techies, and startup enthusiasts. And we're doing it again! Adapting to the vibrant Lisbon vibe, we'll be running it in a rooftop location (we always wanted a rooftop event, but in London that would be Tech Startups in the Rain). So welcome, Tech Startup on the Rooftop Lisbon, we're excited to welcome you to our global network! If you've been to one of our events in London, Milan, Warsaw, Lagos, Cape Town, Madrid, or anywhere else, you already know what it's all about. If you haven't, this is what you need to know: Tech startups on the Rooftop is a relaxed evening at Carmo Rooftop, where people from the tech startup community meet and chat. Whether you're a tech founder, an employee, an enthusiast, a budding entrepreneur, or simply curious about the tech scene, you'll fit right in. This isn't about panels or pitching, just good old-fashioned networking with like-minded people over a drink (and maybe some food) on a Thursday evening. 📍 Where: Carmo Rooftop | Terraços do Carmo, Largo do Carmo, 1200-092 Lisboa, Portugal 🕕 When: September 9th, From 6 PM 🌬️ One small tip: Since we'll be on a rooftop and Lisbon evenings can get a little breezy, it's a good idea to bring something warm to throw on later in the evening. House Rules: No hard selling or heavy pitching. This is a chilled after-work meetup. Not into non-soft drinks? Totally fine, come for the people, stay for the conversation. So grab a drink, and come swap stories from the trenches. See you there! 🍻

20-20 - a Pecha-Kucha style event for AI Builders (members+, in-person, Lisbon)

AIhub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

Twenty slides. Twenty seconds each. No pausing, no going back. Red Bridge is launching its first Pecha-Kucha style night — 20-20 — a fast-paced format built to make AI builders do the hardest thing in tech: get to the point. Each presenter takes the floor with 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide. The deck advances whether you're ready or not, so what's left is the essence of an idea — enough to spark a conversation, start a collaboration, or find the one person in the room already working on the thing you needed. Come to present, or come to watch the ideas fly. Either way, expect sharp thinking, good company, and the kind of connections that only happen at RedBridge Lisbon. Open to RedBridge Lisbon members and the wider Lisbon AI community. Hosted at AI Hub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa. 🗓️ Thursday, September 17 · 6:30–8:30pm 📍 AI Hub by Unicorn Factory Lisboa Want to present? Apply here: https://tally.so/r/68YA8O

Lisbon Tech COnnect: Let's talk about AI

Av. Dom João II 49, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

Lisbon Tech Connect: Let’s Talk About AI 🤖 Putting Machines Back in Their Place What’s worth building in the orchestrator economy? AI has made building cheap. Anyone can spin up a website, an app, or a campaign in an afternoon. So the questions have changed: What’s actually worth building? And who’s really in control? Join us on 17 September for a frank conversation about AI, work, decision-making, and what happens when our job shifts from doing the work to directing the machines that do it. 🎤 Speakers Bharath Rao — Founder, Sitting Pretty & host of Ego to Eureka Tetiana Torovets — Senior Director of Data Science, SIXT Akshay Ruparelia — Co-founder & CEO, Brdge AI; Forbes 30 Under 30 Three perspectives, one big question: How do we put machines back in their place — as engines we direct rather than forces that direct us? Expect sharp insights, uncomfortable questions, live reflections, and practical takeaways for founders, operators, managers, tech professionals, and anyone navigating the AI transition. 📅 Agenda 18:30 — Registration & networking 19:00 — Welcome 19:10 — Speaker sessions & conversation 20:00 — Networking with the community 21:00 — Event ends Why join? Two years ago, watching AI build a website in a minute felt like magic. Today, that demo is the baseline. We’ve all become orchestrators — founders, developers, marketers, managers and operators directing increasingly powerful AI systems. Come explore what that means for what we build, how we work, and who stays in control. You’ll also have plenty of time to meet founders, tech professionals, startups and innovators from across Lisbon’s growing tech ecosystem. 💡 Want to speak or partner with Lisbon Tech Connect?
