Robotics Builders Waterfront 5K

06:30 · America / Los AngelesEquator Coffees, San Francisco Bay Area, United States

Ahead of Actuate Day 1, we're holding a relaxed pre-conference jog that loops from Fort Mason to Fisherman’s Wharf and back. Anyone attending, or any local robotics builders looking to stretch their legs on Tuesday morning, are welcome to join. We'll be putting on coffees and a light breakfast at Equator Coffees in Fort Mason straight after the run. If you’re in town for Actuate, building in robotics, working around autonomy, infrastructure, simulation, hardware, software, or just fancy meeting a few decent people before the day starts, come along. The plan We’ll meet outside Equator Coffees at Fort Mason from 6:30am, then head out together along the waterfront. The route will loop back around the Pier 45 / Boudin area before returning to Fort Mason. Afterwards you'll be able to grab coffee and a light breakfast on us at Equator Coffees before we head into the day. Agenda 6:25am Meet outside Equator Coffees, Fort Mason 6:35am Quick hello, and group photo if people are up for it, before setting off along the waterfront 7:00am – 7:10am Arrive back at Fort Mason 7:10am onwards Coffee and light breakfast at Equator Coffees Route Start: Equator Coffees, Fort Mason Route: Fort Mason → Aquatic Park → Hyde Street Pier → Fisherman’s Wharf → Pier 45 Boudin area → back to Fort Mason Distance: around 5K 3.1 miles Pace: relaxed Finish: Equator Coffees, Fort Mason Who’s hosting? This is organised by Cubiq Robotics & Autonomy. We work with robotics, autonomous systems, physical AI and engineering teams on hiring, and we’ll be in San Francisco for Actuate '26. This is mainly an excuse to meet good people in a way that’s a bit more human than another meeting in a hotel lobby. Note This is an independent event and is not officially affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Actuate, Foxglove or the conference organisers.
