Reverse Engineering the Thought: The Computational Architecture of the Mind

OCT23
17:00 · Asia / Kolkata

About this event

What if AI could help us understand how the human brain represents meaning, perception, and imagination?

Join us for an insightful session exploring the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and deep neural networks, and how computational models can help decode patterns of brain activity.

Title: Reverse Engineering the Thought: The Computational Architecture of the Mind
Date: Friday, October 23, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM \- 6:00 PM IST \| 1:30 PM \- 2:30 PM CEST \| 7:30 AM \- 8:30 AM EDT
Location: Online \| Register Here

What You’ll Learn

The Brain as a Neural Network: How biological and artificial neural networks compare, and what fMRI can actually measure.
From Meaning to Brain Activity: How models based on word meanings can predict patterns of brain activity.
Meaning Across the Cortex: How computational models help map semantic information across different areas of the brain.
Decoding the Brain: How deep neural networks can identify and reconstruct what someone may be seeing or imagining from brain activity.

Who Should Attend
AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning professionals.
Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Data Scientists, and Researchers.
Students and professionals interested in neuroscience, cognition, and AI.

Build Voice AI Agents

Online, India · BagOfAI Meetups
Online

🎙️ Build Voice Agents This Weekend \| From Idea to Talking Agent — No Code Required 💡 The Opportunity Building a voice agent used to need speech engineers and complex pipelines. Not anymore. Describe how you want your agent to sound and respond, and today's voice AI tools handle the rest — listening, understanding, and speaking back in real time. 🎯 What You'll Learn Think in Conversations: Turn-taking, latency, and interruptions — not just scripts. Live Build: Watch a real voice agent get built and talk back, from scratch. Natural Interaction: See the agent handle interruptions, pauses, and context switches live. Prompting for Voice: The instructions that make agents sound human, not robotic. 🤝 Who Should Attend? First-Time Builders wanting to create something real Founders wanting a working voice MVP without a dev team Professionals wanting to automate calls, support, or outreach Anyone curious about conversational AI 📌 The Details Bring: Laptop, internet, curiosity Bonus: Voice-agent-building cheat sheet + BagOfAI community access Format: Interactive \| 100% Practical This is a Virtual Event Event - https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82583085166?pwd=83Ho9bAOERRBi5ErZLgbErChSVgGC3.1

Hermes Comes to Gurugram: Set Up Your 24x7 Personal AI Assistant

Gurugram, India, Gurugram, India
In person

Everyone's tried the AI assistant pitch and ended up with a chatbot that forgets everything the moment you close the tab. This session builds the real version: something that actually runs in the background, checks your inbox and calendar on a schedule, and sends you a digest, built with the rate limits and guardrails that keep it from getting your accounts flagged, because that's the part most tutorials skip. Live build, same machine you walk in with. You leave with it running, not a recording to watch later. What we're building: A background agent on a persistent harness, not a chat window that resets Inbox and calendar checks on a schedule, with a daily digest it sends you The rate limit and safety guardrails that keep long running agents from getting accounts flagged Good for: A founder who wants a morning digest of what actually needs a reply, instead of scrolling the whole inbox An operator who keeps double booking meetings and wants the calendar checked automatically, every day Anyone who has caught themselves reopening the same chat tab five times a day just to ask it the same question again Who it's for: Builders and operators who want a real always on assistant, not another chatbot tab. Format: In person, Gurugram. Bring your own laptop, fully set up before you arrive (prerequisites shared after RSVP). You leave with: A persistent personal assistant running on your own machine, checking your inbox and calendar on a schedule and sending you a daily digest, built inside safe rate limits so it never puts your accounts at risk. Plus the config to keep it alive after you close the laptop, and one real scheduled check already proven to work.
