Andy is Executive Director at Sixt, where he co-leads the Platform Division serving around 80 engineering teams, and technically leads the Share and Van & Truck divisions — putting him in the position of being one of his own platform's internal customers. He's currently driving Sixt's move toward AI-first engineering, and he's been in IT since 1995, long enough to know there's no such thing as a silver bullet. Talk 2 — Beyond 'If/Then': Adding a Touch of Sanity to n8n Max Zmek from Exxeta AG takes on the assumption that every edge case can be hardcoded in advance. His talk looks at where logic runs out and where a workflow needs to handle nuance instead of hitting a wall — an entertaining, practical look at the balance between structure and dynamic behavior. Max specializes in bringing real intelligence into complex enterprise workflows, with hands-on experience across email categorization, custom chatbots, small specialized models, external "brains," and disciplined prompt and context engineering. He works at the intersection of corporate-grade automation and private AI experimentation, building resilient, harness-tested systems.
