A full-day, hands-on workshop at Chicago Innovate
What if you could go from idea to working AEC tool in a single day, with an AI agent as your co-developer?
Agentic Playground is a day-long, build-first workshop for architects, engineers, and computational designers who want to move past the AI hype and actually ship something.
We kick off with a grounded introduction to agents: what they are, how they differ from chatbots and copilots, and why they are about to change the way we build tools for the built environment. From there we present okpy agent , an AI agent purpose-built for AEC workflows, and show what it looks like to develop with an agent at your side.
Then the real fun begins. The rest of the day is a hands-on hackathon. Pick the agent of your choice, pick your platform (Revit, Rhino, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or Navisworks) and build a working AEC tool before the day is out. Work solo or in teams, with mentors on hand when you get stuck. We close with quick demos, so come ready to show off what you made.
Whether you are a seasoned developer or you have never written a line of code, agents level the playing field. Bring your laptop, bring a problem you have always wanted to solve, and leave with a tool you built yourself.
What you'll walk away with
