About this event

The Startup Investor Accelerator (SIA) Process is a 12-week program of "learning by doing." The goal is to help everyone move forward.

Curious about Angel Investing? Join Us for an Introduction Session to this topic

Have you ever wondered how startup investors find, evaluate, and invest in promising companies?

Whether you're actively considering angel investing or simply curious about how the startup investment ecosystem works, this session is designed to give you an accessible introduction to the world of angel investing. Who is it for? How to get started? What to have in mind? …and more.

During this session, we'll also introduce the Trans-Atlantic Angel Conference (TAAC)—our flagship hands-on investor training program that helps aspiring and experienced investors learn by doing. Participants work alongside a diverse cohort of investors from Europe and the US, reviewing real startups, conducting due diligence, hearing founder pitches, and ultimately making investment decisions together.

We'll also be joined by a TAAC alumni who will share their personal journey, how the program shaped their development as an angel investor, and who can benefit most from the experience.

In this session, we'll cover

What angel investing is and how the ecosystem works
An introduction to the Transatlantic Angel Conference (TAAC)
How the learning-by-doing model helps investors gain real-world experience
TAAC alumni experience
Who the program is designed for and whether it might be a fit for you
Open Q&A

No prior investing experience is required, just curiosity and an interest in learning more about startups, innovation, and angel investing.

About the organizer – SIA Angel Hub (previously SIA - Startup Investor Accelerator)

SIA is an angel investor hub designed to help more people become active participants in innovation through angel investing, entrepreneurship, and meaningful ecosystem connections. Through our events, community, and programs such as TAAC (
