About this event

lem.prodigy9.co
LEM #2 - The AI Revolution
Vibe coding is here to stay and nearly half of the engineers I know are no longer
coding by hand. The times have changed. People, however, will remain people.
As a Lead Engineer, how have you changed your own workflow/automation? How do you "Lead"
differently when your team are submitting slops left-and-right? Do you still hire
"Junior"s or are you focusing purely on seniors now? Does your team productivity actually
10x or is it just 0.5x because of the huge pile of open Pull Requests?
As with the first LEM, as a "Lead Engineer", "Engineering Manager", or "CTO"s having to
decide all these policies with limited information, the "business people" breathing down
your neck, and a timeline that is even tigher because of the assumed "AI" magic is a
tough job to do by yourself alone.
Let's meet real people for a change, and let's share what tools/practices do we have to
navigate the new AI era. Let's meetup.
Panelists
Siroratt Suntronsuk
Product Team Lead, Arise by INFINITAS - Brings extensive experience in engineering leadership, accessibility, and AI-driven quality practices — sharing practical insights on leading high-performing engineering teams and building products with impact.
Warachet Samtalee
Site Reliability Engineer, ex-CTO - passionate about building resilient, scalable platforms while leveraging AI to improve engineering efficiency.
Anak Mirasing
Tech Lead (Mobile), Jitta - Shares lessons on leading mobile teams, building reliable software, and adopting AI without compromising quality.

Only Devs #128: Strategic Software Design + Rust for Fast Queries

Event Space at Royal Oak (4th floor), Bangkok, Thailand · Only Devs Bangkok (formerly ThaiPy)
In person

We are now Only Devs Bangkok! Formerly known as ThaiPy, we recently renamed the group and broadened its focus, because the work of a developer is changing fast. These days we often work across many languages and technologies, and we want to help you keep up. #1 - Strategic Software Design: Architecting Software that Lasts \- Oleksandr Polieno (IGLU) has deep expertise in software engineering, having taken on challenges ranging from database optimization to web apps. He's going to provide insight on making decisions that are expensive to reverse - covering how much to plan up front, where to spend effort, choosing architecture, and how this same discipline extend to building with LLMs. #2 - Introduction to Differential Dataflow: Fast Queries in Rust on Changing Data - Cesar Augusto (nosotro.app) had to overcome the challenges of keeping application state up to date as new events flooded in. He'll introduce us to Differential Dataflow, data-parallel programming framework designed to efficiently process large volumes of data and to quickly respond to arbitrary changes in input collections. Only Devs is a free event for anyone that's interested in keeping up with the latest programming languages, libraries, and techniques. Everyone is welcome, beginner to advanced or just curious about tech, whatever your background. Snacks and soft drinks provided by MIT Hacking Medicine. Schedule 18.30: Top floor of the Royal Oak, Suk 33/1 (BTS Phrom Phrong). 18:30: Arrive and mingle at the venue. 19:00: 2 Short talks (20-30 min each) 20:00: Lightning talks (anyone can, capped at 5min per talk) 20:30 - late: For optional networking and socialising, stick around. Interested in speaking at future events? - https://lin.ee/y01pvKl We are also interested in those wanting to present (20-30 min short presentations, or 5min lightning talks).
