About this event

Knowing When to Pivot
A Fireside Chat & Workshop for Women in Tech With Leslie Chen, founder of Leslie Chen Coaching, and Sally Revell, founder of GenerativeHuman.AI
Some of the biggest moments in our careers and lives come down to one simple question: is it time to pivot?
Join us for an evening built around exactly that question. Whether you are sensing a shift coming or you are already standing at the edge of one, this is a space to think it through with other women who get it.
What to Expect:
We will start with a 20-minute fireside chat where Leslie and Sally share the reality of their own major life and career pivots. They will talk about choosing courage over comfort and the messy reality of jumping before feeling fully ready.
Then, we move into an interactive workshop where we will discuss:
The signs that it is time for a change, especially the ones you keep talking yourself out of.
How to take the first step with confidence.
Ways to ensure your next move aligns with your values, rather than just what looks good on a resume.
Who This Is For:
Women in tech who feel stuck, uninspired, or ready for a new challenge.
Leaders and founders debating a major career transition or life change.
Anyone who wants to make a career move based on internal values rather than external expectations.
Who This Is Not For:
Those wanting a passive, listen-only lecture. We expect attendees to participate, reflect, and share.
What You Will Walk Away With:
Clarity: A better understanding of your own readiness for change.
Actionable steps: the starting point for making your next move.
Connection: New relationships with a community of ambitious women facing similar choices.
Agenda
Light bites and beverages will be provided.
6:00 PM: Doors open for food, drinks, and mingling.
6:30 PM: Fireside chat with Leslie and Sally.
6:50 PM: Interactive workshop and group exercises.
8:00 PM: Q&A and final wrap-up.
8:30 PM: Event concludes.
Come for the conversation. Leave with clarity on your next mov
