About this event
ENG
Our first hackathon.
How it works: Every team gets starter code — a barebones Hacklab profile. That's your foundation.
The challenge: Enrich it. Pull in extra data about a builder's skills, background, stuff no profile shows today — repos, prompts, agents, side projects, book they read, whatever signal you can find. Then present it in the coolest way possible.
Crazy ideas welcome. The weirder, the better.
Schedule:
16:00 — Doors open. Show up, plug in, setup check
18:00 — Hackathon starts. Fork the starter, go
21:00 — Hands off keyboards. Demos begin
22:00 — Judging done, winner crowned 🥃
23:00 — Club. Everyone rolls to Smolna
Why come:
Best builds get a shot at shipping into the Hacklab product
Warsaw's builder scene in one room
Winner takes home a bottle of whisky
After party: It's our co-founder's birthday. Every single hackathon member comes with us.
PL
Nasz pierwszy hackathon.
Jak to działa: Każdy zespół dostaje starter code — goły profil Hacklab. To wasz fundament.
Wyzwanie: Wzbogaćcie go. Wyciągnijcie dodatkowe dane o skillach i backgroundzie buildera — rzeczy, których żaden profil dziś nie pokazuje: repozytoria, prompty, agenci, side projecty, książki które czyta, każdy sygnał, jaki znajdziecie. A potem zaprezentujcie to w najbardziej odjechany sposób.
Szalone pomysły mile widziane. Im dziwniej, tym lepiej.
Plan:
16:00 — Otwieramy drzwi. Wbijasz, podpinasz sprzęt, setup check
18:00 — Start hackathonu. Forkujesz starter i jedziesz
21:00 — Ręce z dala od klawiatur. Zaczynamy dema
22:00 — Koniec oceniania, ogłaszamy zwycięzcę 🥃
23:00 — Klub. Wszyscy wbijamy na Smolną
Po co przyjść:
Najlepsze buildy mają szansę trafić do produktu Hacklab
Cała warszawska scena builderów w jednym miejscu
Zwycięzca zgarnia butelkę whisky
After party: Nasz co-founder ma urodziny. Każdy uczestnik hackathonu idzie z nami.

Wiki+Ctrl+Delete: Wikipedia – The Internet Encyclopedia Under Attack @ Poland Tech Week 2026
Join us for "Wiki+Ctrl+Delete: Wikipedia – The Internet Encyclopedia Under Attack", part of Poland Tech Week 2026. While millions trust Wikipedia as their primary source of information, maintaining the world's largest encyclopedia is a highly complex challenge. Behind the scenes, the platform actively pushes back against coordinated disinformation, automated bots, and AI-generated content, as well as major AI-scraping attacks. Far from a simple digital library, Wikipedia is an active space where accuracy and objective truth require constant moderation and technological defense. Join us during Poland Tech Week for an event that will expose the mechanics of these attacks and show how open knowledge defends itself against collapse. We will analyze the most notorious case studies from the frontlines of edit wars, look into the tools guarding the platform and discuss whether truth still stands a chance in the AI era. Reserve your spot and discover what crisis management looks like in the Last Good Place on the Internet. Who is this for? Cybersecurity professionals and tech enthusiasts. Founders, developers, and AI researchers. Journalists, fact-checkers, and content creators. Anyone curious about who really controls the information we read online See the full Poland Tech Week calendar -> https://luma.com/polandtechweek
