Building Next Gen Autonomous Agentic Systems with Google - Chicago

Join Google and AICamp for an intensive, 90-minute in-person build lab where theory translates directly into functional software. Most AI tutorials stop at simple single-turn prompts, but scalable systems require autonomous agents that reason over live data, manage persistent context, and execute complex multi-step tasks. In this hands-on workshop, you will step beyond conversational interfaces to architect, configure, and deploy next-generation autonomous agentic systems using Google Cloud.

Bring your laptop! This is an active engineering session with zero local setup required. You will leave with a fully functioning system running in your cloud environment.

What We'll Do

Autonomous Task Orchestration: Configure multi-step agent workflows that plan, reason, and act across complex task flows.
State & Tool Integration: Connect agent architectures to cloud tools, execution environments, and live datasets.
Resilient System Design: Implement robust patterns built to manage complex runtime inputs, long-running processes, and error recovery.

Agenda:
\- 5:00pm\~5:30pm: Checkin\, food and networking
\- 5:30pm\~7:30pm: Hands\-on workshop/Code labs
\- 7:30pm\~8:00pm: Build your own projects
\- 8:00pm\~8:30pm: Demo\, Open discussion and Mixer

Hands-on Workshop: Building Resilient Asynchronous Agents
Moving beyond conversational chatbots requires systems that do more than predict the next token. Real-world autonomous architectures must plan multi-step operations, interface with external tools, maintain state across asynchronous operations, and recover cleanly from runtime failures.
In this intensive 90-minute, in-person masterclass hosted by Google and AICamp, you will move directly into active engineering. Working entirely inside Google Cloud Shell, you will build and deploy a next-generation autonomous
