Gone in 60 Seconds (Lisbon AI Week Edition)

SEP21
18:00 · Europe / Lisbon

About this event

60 seconds to sell Lisbon AI Week
60 seconds to make Lisbon watch. Marketers, communicators, creatives and AI builders: you have under two hours to create a fully AI-generated video campaign for Lisbon AI Week. Any tool is allowed. Engineers on the floor if you get stuck.
Test it before a single human sees it.
Each team gets three runs on VARTHEO. VARTHEO builds a version of reality where your ad has already gone live. An audience of Augmented Consumers (cognitive replicas of real Portuguese consumers) watches it and reacts the way the public would. You get back three things: what works, what doesn't, and what to change to bring more people through the door. Iterate, then submit.
At 20:00 the room becomes a cinema.
Every film screens back to back. The room votes live. A jury of three names the winner. The winning film is offered to Lisbon AI Week as official campaign material, and the team takes home a surprise prize.
Schedule
18:00 - Doors open. Drinks, tool logins, find your team.
18:15 - The brief, from the InnoWave and VARTHEO teams.
18:30 - Build. 60 seconds of video, three VARTHEO runs, hard stop at 20:00.
20:00 - Screening and live vote.
20:40 - Jury verdict and winner.
21:00 - Last call.
The rules (all of them)
It's about Lisbon AI Week.
60 seconds max, entirely AI-generated.
No real people, music or brands you don't have the rights to.
Solo or teams of up to four. Submit by 20:00 or it doesn't screen.
We're hosting this at InnoWave's Lisbon office, and the night happens on our private terrace: open air, a DJ, drinks and food from the moment the doors open, Lisbon in September.
Hosted by InnoWave Group with VARTHEO.

The Agents That Scaleups Built: Stories From AI-First Builders

IDEA Spaces - São Sebastião, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

Once upon a time, AI was a nice-to-have. Now it's the thing scaleups are built on. During Lisbon AI Week 2026, join real practitioners from four fast-growing companies for an evening of candid stories about building AI-first, at speed. They’ll share what shipped, what broke, and what they'd do differently. Lineup: Kianna Love and Jake Duffy (Paddle), Quentin Churet (Alpic), Tiago Zien-Mendes (Speakeasy), and Faateh Dhillon (Dust) Location: IDEA Spaces - São Sebastião From products designed to be promptable from day one, to an agent that supports a daily habit, to agents trusted enough to act with real autonomy, to AI that's shared across a whole team, no two stories are the same. They’re all chapters in the same tale: what it takes to build with AI right now. Grab your spot, get a drink, and let the stories unfold. Meet the speakers Quentin Churet, Alpic The Owl Doesn't Know Me - Replacing Duolingo with an MCP App and the agent that already knows my life I hit B1 in Spanish and stopped. Duolingo had taken me as far as a fixed curriculum can : it doesn't know that I'm currently reading a book about Pablo Escobar's life, or that my wife is the reason I'm learning at all. Meanwhile the agent I talk all day knows all of that - and forgets it by tomorrow. Agents have context, they have no record. So I built Gordito, an MCP App that gives my agent memory of my Spanish. It stores what I got wrong, not just what I looked up. The server owns when I see something again. The agent owns what it looks like - as an interactive quiz, directly inside the conversation as an MCP App. I'll show the build, the demo and what I've learned so far. Faateh Dhillon, Dust The Interruption Tax - Reducing team interruptions with AI agents “Who owns this?” “Have we seen this before?” “Can someone explain how this works?” They’re small questions, but answering them pulls people away from their work. The information usually exists somewhere: in a Slack thread, a document, a past decision, or a col

Re. punk Salon: Art & Health & AI Series

Casa bohemia Algarve, Lisbon, Portugal
In person

What is Re.punk? Re. punk is dedicated to empower women and is promoting a regenerative lifestyle with a distinctly punk and irreverent voice. We use experimental design, artificial intelligence, and data science to demystify the complex science behind chronic disease — with a focus on autoimmune conditions. The Art & Health & AI series demonstrates the power of artistic expression to communicate complex scientific research through technology. The emotions stirred by experiencing art may also serve as a catalyst for prevention and inspire engagement in health-promoting initiatives. What are salons? The Re. punk salons are informal gatherings in spaces that provide context for the topics we want to discuss during the salon. The salons are based on: Viennese salon in the 1920s that were intimate gathering, typically hosted in a private home, where artists, intellectuals, scientists, and writers met to exchange radical ideas across disciplines — blurring the boundaries between art, philosophy, politics, and science. Who should attend and what to expect? Our salons bring together artists, founders, creatives, chefs, farmers, athletes, food scientists, activists, financial advisors, investors, technologists, expert patients, and researchers to accelerate systemic change through a regenerative lifestyle and creative science. This salon is open to everyone — including men with partners navigating autoimmune conditions, those who believe in empowering women, and anyone who wants to support Re.punk's mission through their network or resources. Why this salon theme? The Healing Power of Scent. Scent, cognition, and the body's immune response. Smell is the only sense wired directly into the brain's emotional and memory centers — it bypasses conscious thought and lands straight in the limbic system. That same wiring links scent to the body's stress response and immune function: what we breathe in doesn't just shape mood, it shapes physiology. Why at Casa Bohemia? At Casa Bohemi
