Free LEGO Robotics Program (Children ages 5-10) (1h 10m, 2 Sessions)
Children will build functional robots using LEGO pieces and code their behavior on provided laptops using the Lego Spike coding environment. We will code using colorful drag-and-drop code blocks, and then watch the code expressed in real time through the robots’ movements! This event is a unique, hands-on experience that provides robotics and coding education. Children will develop their problem-solving, creativity, and (most importantly) teamwork!
Location: Community Room at Burnaby Public Library (McGill Branch)
Date: Sunday, August 16th, 2026
Time: 10:00AM - 1:00PM

This workshop includes two 75-minute sessions, running from 10:20AM - 11:30AM and 11:40AM - 12:50PM.
