Founders Breakfast Vol. II with Seye Bandele

OCT30
10:30

About this event

Start your Friday morning after Moonshot with breakfast, honest conversation, and 50 founders building across Africa. Founders Breakfast returns for its second edition, hosted by Seye Bandele, with two fireside conversations about building through difficult conditions and preparing for what comes next.
First, Foluso Ogunwale, Founder & CEO of iFitness, joins Seye for “Scaling in a Market That Fights You Back.” We’ll explore what it takes to build physical scale in Nigeria: financing expansion, navigating infrastructure challenges, finding talent, and keeping operations running when every input works against you.
Then, Samson "The Oracle" Esemuede, Chief Investment Officer at Zrosk IML, sits down for “Positioning for 2027, Before the Market Moves.” This conversation looks ahead at Nigerian finance and trade, the shifts founders should be watching, and how to prepare their businesses before those changes arrive.
Each conversation includes an open Q&A. Bring the questions you rarely get to ask, the challenges you’re working through, and a willingness to share what you’re learning. No slides or pitch decks—just breakfast and candid discussion with people who understand the work of building.
We’re keeping the room small: 50 seed-to-pre-Series A founders, gathering in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, 30 October 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:35 PM WAT.
Attendance is by invitation only. Venue details will be shared with confirmed guests.

AWS Community Day West Africa 2026

Online, Lagos, Nigeria · AWS Cloud Security User Group - West Africa
Online

Unbound Innovation: Scaling Agentic AI across Enterprises with AWS Across West Africa and beyond, enterprises are navigating a new wave of complex challenges: AI agents are moving from experiments to production, and most enterprises aren't ready for what that means operationally. Trust and control are harder to guarantee when AI systems act autonomously instead of simply assisting. Scaling agentic AI across cloud and on-prem environments introduces a level of orchestration complexity most teams haven't faced before These problems aren't theoretical. They're real, they're here, and they're slowing down innovation. The good news? There are answers, and AI is no longer just an emerging trend; it's a critical part of the solution. Agentic AI is emerging as the next leap, moving beyond automation to systems that can reason, decide, and act, and it's set to redefine how enterprises secure, build, and scale across West Africa and beyond. This year at AWS Community Day West Africa, we're coming together to discuss how we address this with AI, not as hype, but as a practical tool that works. For Business Owners, Solution Providers & Sponsors: There will be dedicated exhibition spaces for cloud solution providers, tech startups, and service-focused businesses. If you have a product or solution that helps businesses scale, secure, or simplify operations, this is your chance to showcase it to the right audience. Let attendees see what you offer. Start conversations. Build new partnerships. This is more than an event. It's a community of builders, leaders, learners, and problem-solvers coming together to shape the future of cloud and AI in Africa. Come ready to learn, connect, share, and grow. Whether you're leading a team, just starting, or building the next big thing, you have a part to play Save the date: Saturday, October 17th, 2026 Zone Tech Park, Gbagada, Lagos Virtual participation available
